posted a message on LF a Vanilla server for me and GF
Hey, thanks for making this topic. This is exactly what I'm looking for too. Just looking for a very basic survival/vanilla server. Preferably one without pvp for a friend and I.

    Quote from Omninoob

I was going to post a ****ton of artists, but I feel that, based upon your videos listed, my efforts would be lost. So I won't.

    ;_;

I'm really open to everything. The only dubstep I've really heard is a few things on Youtube and my collection is mostly of songs from a list that I found on Google after searching "top dubstep songs."

posted a message on Looking for more dubstep
Hey guys, I'm looking to increase my dubstep playlist a little, I haven't been listening to it long but I really like to listen to it when I'm playing fast paced shooters. If you want, post names or video links to your favorite songs. I'll post a few that I've been listening to recently.

A few more shots of the valley. Note I have the render distance modded to high levels.

I found this little area a few weeks ago and it was the first area that I actually was amazed with the level generator. It's a huge valley surrounded by an even bigger mountain biome. The biome itself is the best mountain biome i've ever seen. It includes a mountain with what looks like it might be a ravine going through it in a "U" shape.

Note that I do have my render distance modded up to high levels.

I'm not sure if NPC villages spawn randomly if other people try to load the seed, but for me, there's a village right in the middle of the valley. It seemed like a shame to change the area since it was so good looking so I just moved in with the locals.

    Seed: -3471086562624007049

Coordinates (to the npc village, mountains are within eye sight)

    x: 255.1377996072202
    y: 72.62000000476837
    z: -315.92389713305107
    f: 2

Slap on your favorite texture pack and go have a look. I'm using DokuCraft and I can vouch for it looking good with that pack.

I bought the $3.99 deal just because whenever I would play with my friend our connections were never all that good, and my friend couldn't get her Hamachi working correctly. Everything works great, it's up 24/7, and there's never any lag. Best of all there's no Hamachi required! It's a great program and all but I've had so many issues with the damn thing it's rediculous.

Quick question while I'm here, I'm totally new to doing this, and I was wondering if there's any way I could update my server with the new pre-releases. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks again for the awesome server.

Awesome guide. I wish this was around when I was learning how to use redstone. Beats the hell out of the wiki imo.

I'm not against Mojang on this at all, but is it really necessary for this to be a community wide announcement? It seems a little childish.

that's because you downloaded the mod support, not the texture pack.

I've tried all the mirrors too.

    it is

When I download I get a large amount of uncompressed folders. They seem to be all the required folders when I compare them to my other texture packs but it doesn't show up when I load up Minecraft. I've tried putting them into the Texture Pack folder, putting them into a compressed folder manually, and other random methods that just came up off the top of my head. I've tried all the mirrors too.

I think you should add a walk through on how to install this because I know a few people here including myself have no idea what they're doing since it doesn't seem to be as simple as drag and drop into your Texture Pack folder. Some help would be appreciated.

posted a message on Paintings and sleeping
    Quote from Zakaib

    There is only one explanation:

    The painting is haunted.

Just to be sure... has it been aging prematurely, leaving you handsome and youthful? Does it bleed when you stare at it long enough? When exposed to open flame, do you hear the sounds of wailing babes at the edges of your mind?

Seriously, though: Try moving the bed around, see if it makes a difference. The painting may be counted as a "block", which may make the bed think that you have a wall too close to it. Try moving the bed and the painting farther apart.

I was using the creeper painting for a while... *shudders*

But yeah, i'll give that a try.
