Denied, I'm sorry but I need a better reason than Sounds fun. You kinda need to be dedicated to Adventuring.
On another note, I've decided to start a journal.
--DAY 1--
I woke up on the beach of a small bay, And begun gathering wood from the nearby forest. I made a workbench and the essential tools, Then began to wander deeper into the forest. I killed some pigs and got 3 porkchops, Always useful. I heard a bark, And spent a decent amount of time looking for the wolf that made it. When I couldn't fine it I felt silly. I had no bones to tame it anyway. I came across a pumpkin patch, and gathered the pumpkins. They're useful for underwater travel. That reminded me that I had no coal. I looked up for the sun but I couldn't see it. I began to panic. After a while of searching (The sun was actually at midday when I found the pumpkins. Don't know how I missed it.) I really began to freak out. Then instinct kicked in. I began to get wood and search for exposed stone. The sun began to set. I dug my way into a hillside and closed myself off in a 1x1 room. I set my workbench in a crevice I made and made a furnace. I made charcoal with the wood I gathered. I made torches and waited out the night.
Sorry 'bout the lack of pics, I've been busy. That aside, I have an idea/challenge for you hardcore adventurers. Make a new world and give yourself a book (If you don't have Toomnayitems or an inventory modder just wander until you find reed. It is CRUCIAL that you craft/pick up NOTHING until you find the reed and make a book.) Then Make a journal of your wanderings and post it here. Now you may be saying "Net, Why the book?" glad you asked. The challenge ends 3 ways
1) Death
2) You break a rule (Rules below)
3) You loose the book
Now for the rules:
1) Play on East-Hard. Peaceful is for babies.
2) Have the book at every sundown. It's okay to store it but you MUST have it at sundown
3) Never stay in one place for more than a day and a night. It makes it boring to read and a waste of the thread space if it's 50 straight pages of "How I built a castle that noone but myself cares about and that protects me just about as much as digging 3 down and covering the hole" (Returning to a place is okay but it must have been more than a week since your last visit.
Pics of things like your shelter are nice, But not required. Doing this is in no way required to be part of the clan.

By The Way, This is how exited I am for 1.8: To get 1.8 to be released faster I would burn a newly adopted orphan's house down and brutally murder his parents in front of him, The break his spine at the legs so he is paralyzed and can't walk, Then sell him to the slave market and make him work in the sulfur mines for the rest of his life. Wanna know what I'd do to someone who delays 1.8?
Okay, Guys, Put on you thinking caps for a second. Noone ever confirmed the silverfish or dragons, EVER! This is all speculation. And while there's a good possibility that Dragons, Silverfish, Bats, Etc. may be an addition I think it'll be a last minute thing, Like the actual fish mobs were on the halloween update. The one mob that is guaranteed has an to be Pigmen, Goblins or some other village-making mob or half the update is down the drain.

Hi, My IGN is NetWalker203, And I'd like to start up a small shop. I like to think that I am a pretty respectful person and that I'm (Metaphorically)invisible, I tend to blend in and stay quiet, Not causing alot of problems. My plan is to mine and/or wander until I can build up enough cash to start up a small business, Where I'd sell food, Weaker equiptment and a couple of rooms if possible. Kinda like a tavern. I hate to say but I have little-no intention to build alot, Although maybe I'll make my tavern on an unexplored Island and start a colony, Not really sure.
