Step 1. Download the map.
Step 2. Use WinRAR or 7zip to extract it to your desktop or somewhere you can remember.
Step 3. If your using Windows 7, click the Start Menu and search %appdata% and if your using Windows XP, Click the Start Menu and click Run, and type %appdata% then press OK.
Step 4. Double-Click .minecraft and find "Saves" and open it.
Step 5. Drag the file your extracted into here.
Step 6. The end. Open single player!
