Im 39 from NJ and have been playing since the old Xbox 360 edition days. Currently I play on a clan realm which has basically turned into me playing by myself since other people are busy with other games. Would love to play on an active realm
built layer 3 & 4 and those farmers have no issues. It’s only that second layer. Removed both the farmer & center villager again, made sure both had empty inventories, cleared the field of potatoes. Filled the farmers inventory. He planted the whole field, then went about staring at the walls again...no clue why there is an issue in this 4 block slice of these farms
I actually had a baby wolf spawn in my base (about 8 blocks above bedrock). Spent like 30 minutes trying to figure out how it got there...now it makes sense
i built a 16x16 potato farm based on this design so that I could layer them:
The first layer worked with the only issue being that I had to purge the farmers inventory because he somehow got some beetroot in it, but after that he harvested and threw the food to the second villager.
i created the second layer, and the farmer planted all the potatoes, but after that he just walked the perimeter of the farm. I tried purging his inventory (cleared the entire farm, blocked him in a corner, and let him plant in one block and took it right away until he was empty).
gave him new stacks of potatoes and he replanted the entire farm, but once they were ready to be harvested he did not do so.
tried replacing the farmer with a fresh brown coat (took a brand new brown coat baby out of the breeder & kept him away from all food). Let him grow up then put him in the farm. Same thing happened.
also tried replacing the villager for the center of the farm. Still no difference.
i don’t see how the bottom layer works perfectly, but the next layer (only 4 blocks up) is having this issue. Any help would be appreciated.
