    Yeah, this looks like a problem with only the language files. I used to use some really weird custom system for languages before and now everything is automatically loaded by Minecraft so it appears that Minecraft does not read my Unicode encoding correctly just as my older system did. Thanks for the post, this really helps me flush out the problems with the mod.

    I updated all versions of the mod and added an updated 1.7 so you don't have to use an unofficial update of the mod. The 1.7 version is using the updated networking code so that it should be much stable. All versions before had a bug that I didn't notice until my friend was having errors. It took me a while to find, but I found it and people should not be crashing out of their worlds if they spam items in and out of barrels. I put in some safety into the networking so that some pesky crashes to the main menu won't happen.


    And of course the dreaded: cpw.mods.fml.common.LoaderException: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: cpw.mods.fml.common.registry.LanguageRegistry.loadLanguageTable(Ljava/util/Map;Ljava/lang/String;) is fixed forever. I totally removed all the language code in favour of the new assets loader that minecraft has built in.


    Of course, if anybody has any problems, just message me here and I will sort it out really quickly.

    Looks okay to me. (on forge 12.16.0.1865)

    Maybe the crafting recipe is a little weird in the configuration file. Make sure it looks something like this:

    I only tries crafting the t1 barrel only. Maybe it's not working for higher tier of the barrel. What barrel are you trying to craft exactly?

    I updated the downloads what it seems dropbox wants me to use. It's impossible to find a download site that just gives you a direct download instead of going through some intermediate step with ads on it most of the time. Hopefully the service will not get mad and completely remove the download. Thanks for the heads up @Farproc!

    Cheers everyone! The mod is now also updated for Minecraft 1.9. That was an easy update even though there were a lot of errors when I first opened it up. I added some sound effects just like the item frames. There is a configuration in the cfg file that will let your turn it off. It is on by default.

    I added mirror downloads to the mod curtesy of the asterisks(*) right beside the main download links. I'm also going to start to update the mod for 1.9. Hopefully that will be done quickly as 1.8 was quite the challenge because they changed so much.

    I updated the mod with a extra null pointer check, this should fix some kind of weird crash that would happen on some words and not others. I kept the same version number so make sure you don't get it mixed up with the older version. Just to note, if you did have a problem of crashing, then just use the updated version. The last version would not corrupt the world so don't worry if you think you lost your world. Cheers!


    Just make sure you post any errors you may have when using the mod.

    Hey I'm back from hiding under a rock. I guess this whole Donald trump thing in the US got me a little frightened. Anyway I updated the mod for 1.8.8 (works for 1.8.9 also though) I hope you enjoy. One disclaimer: I removed downloads for older versions because I don't plan on touching those if people have problems.

    The update is coming along. It was mostly just trying to figure out how the new minecraft code works. The network code has been re-written so i'm almost done the update. All there really is left is the new rendering system. It's so different from the old one and I don't even who where to start.



    I started with all the classes having errors. Not so bad.

    The crash but is very easy to fix; I'm just too lazy to set up 1.7.10. I already have my work cut out, but I am still staying on my 1.8 completion promise of the end of the weekend. A lot of stuff has changed in 1.8, so don't bark at other modders because they are not willing to update their mod, it is a fair bit of work. The only reason I'm updating for 1.8 is because I just recently started a multiplier world with one of my friends.



    On the other hand, I am not I am not in the mood to implement new features. Just as I said, my motives came from this new server I set up.

    Good news everybody! I have been able to get minecraft forge to decompile minecraft for the longest time. Almost all my code has errors so I might be ready by the end of the weekend. I have a lot more experience with networking so I think I will be re-writing a lot of the networking code. Working on 1.8, I won't be updating 1.7 though. Sorry!

    Uh, apparently Minecraft Forums stopped sending me e-mails so I didn't know that the mod is not compatible with the new forge. I'll try and get a fix up soon but school started for me today. It might take some time.

    I have an idea for the mod. I think we sould ditch the low/med/high coltage cables and just add wire gauges. So the more material you put onto the wire the lower the gauge (a thicker wire). I want to be able to transport power at a couple kw so that means the transformer may also need an upgrade where you can put in more then just 4 wires. The game can calculate the amount of resistance in a wire by the amount of voltage/heat running though the wire.

    I want to have a very dynamic system where there are no locked 50/200/800 volt systems I want there to be no lock on the amount of volts I can run though a wire. What do you think?

    I'm having trouble with the signal processor, when I hook up an analog signal to a signal box and do a if check on this signal, it seams that the mod processes it in integers instead of floats. If i do something like:
    if(A=1.0,1,0)
    the signal processor will output 1 along as A > 0.5. I want to be able to check if A is EXACTLY 1 and not have to deal with rounded calculations.
