Nov 27, 2011Nazzer posted a message on A cool, nostalgic seed, with NPC, Plains biome, and lots of cool terrain features. How do you not know how to post pics?Posted in: Seeds
You take a screenshot (Hit print screen on your keyboard), then open Paint or another image editor and select "paste" (Ctrl+V is quickest), the screenshot will be pasted.
Save that and upload to imageshack.us or another free image hoster that lets you post the images directly.
And are you sure that is your seed? Hit F3 and your seed should be the last thing listed at the bottom of the top-left column of text. Sorry, I just don't trust you knowing your seed if you don't know how to post screenshots.
Nov 27, 2011I just ran across this seed randomly while generating new worlds to play with. It's a small island with no trees, but it isn't just in the middle of an unreasonable expanse: it's a part of a chain of islands including one a bit further out... with one tree. So you'll need to expand if you want to survive.Posted in: Seeds
This is probably the most reasonably challenging island seeds I've ever used.
Seed is "-3700635576370063150"

One of the changes to how MC updates was a little dialog that asks if you want to update. I do like the changes so I clicked "Yes"
I like new content. I like new blocks. I like new mobs. I like prettier light. I like more interesting combat. I like not having to mouse wheel/hotkey over to food during a battle.
I like new content, so i clicked "Yes"
I have never clicked the +1 button until I saw your post.

This isnt a derp moment, Its something I found out without it being spoiled. I enjoyed it too and I wanted to share the experience and to let those know who still haven't found out. You trolls prevented it though which is typical if a subject is obvious to them. You guys should not pick on people and get more of a life of your own.
I thought it was cool when the rain saved my life right at the last second.
I'm with the OP. I didn't know this, because I tend to avoid new mobs being spoiled for me too much so that i can experience the surprise of finding out details of their behavior.
Sep 17, 2011Ugh. You people seem to think that it has to either be on or off. Why don't you suggest things like "make it only apply at layer 10 and below" or "make it so you can see if you light using glowstone or jackolanterns"?Posted in: 1.8 Update Discussion
No, instead you say "OFF OR TOGGLEABLE ONLY. ಠ_ಠ

Just like your usual people. Acting like they're better than others cause they bought the game earlier. Reminds me of World of Warcraft when people would **** on others just cause the one person's guild could kill a raid boss that another person's guild was not able to.
You don't deserve any sort of special treatment - if anything we should all be treated fairly.
Either make us all pay for DLC's, or make us pay extra.
Who is acting like they are better for buying the game earlier, here? The most people have done was point out that they got the benefit because buying earlier supported Notch when he was still a small-time developer, no one said they were BETTER for it. They were just explaining why NOTCH gave them that benefit.
Really, it seems to me like you are projecting your biases on others. You EXPECT alpha buyers to act that way, so you imagine that they ARE acting that way.
But no one here is acting that way. Grow up.
Jun 30, 2011Nazzer posted a message on Notch, seriously, you're completely ignoring the forums.Or maybe he realized a long time ago how much his beta testers whine that there are bugs in a beta game that is still in beta. Beta. BETA.Posted in: Survival Mode
Jun 30, 2011Hey guise? I suppose you aren't programmers, because anyone who has ever worked on games knows that bugs can appear after you test stuff . I mean, some people have already done things like right-clicking sheep and pushing water and not had crashes, perhaps this is an issue with a specific combination of factors? Like, have you all updated Java?Posted in: Discussion
