Hello,
Reika. I love your mods. I was first introduced into the when I played
FTB Monster. Although ReactorCraft and Electricraft were a little
complex for me to grasp, I loved your idea with cave gems with
GeoStrata.
Recently, I've planned to make a mod pack (I'm not
exactly sure how to go about doing this honestly! I think I'm just going
to make a Curse mod pack) with a bunch of my favorite mods. While
looking for some mods, I stumbled across your main page and instantly
fell in love with the newer ChromatiCraft mod.
In the future, I
plan to either make this mod pack for myself, or maybe launch a server
for a few friends (all of this is kind of new to me, so don't know how
far I'll go with this idea), and I was hoping I could get your
permission to do so.The mods I would include of yours would most likely be:
Dragon API (obviously), RotaryCraft, ChromatiCraft, TerritoryZone, Cave Control (possibly), CritterPet (possibly).
If
you will allow me to use your mods, I will be sure to inform you of any
actions I make if I decide to follow through, and send you a link of
some sort to my finished modpack before I use it for any multiplayer
purposes. (If you would like, I can contact you somewhere other than
this forum for your convenience)
Lastly, depending on the
other mods I find while I'm searching, I may want to drop down below
minecraft version 1.7.10. I was wondering if there was a ChromatiCraft
mod for anything below 1.7.10. I'm assuming not, since like I said
earlier, Cave Crystals used to be part of GeoStrata, along with Dye
Trees and Ender Forest.
Thank you for making so many wonderful mods, and look forward to exploring them!
If
your pack is only available on your server, and will not be available
elsewhere, then yes, you can, so long as you do not monetize, modify
(aside from granted permissions), redistribute, or claim credit for the
mods.
As for ChromatiCraft, your reasoning is correct: No public CC 1.6.4 version exists.
Hi Reika,
I was playing my pack and found an interesting mod interaction with RotaryCraft and Compact Machines. The steam engines won't increase in heat when placed in that "dimension". it stays at a 17 deg C.
Just thought I'd report it.
BTW.. love the new update.
P.S. I haven't found a good alternative to tar, yet
Are they ticking at all?
Also, the liquefaction machine is the new way of producing Soul Sand.

Could you possibly include something that lets us choose to keep the repair enchant in the configs?
