- On line 173, you try to register SchematicAssassin before instantiating it, so you're passing null to GameRegistry.registerItem as the first argument
- On lines 209-214, you pass the values of your schematic item fields to registerSchematic without instantiating them, so you're passing null as the first two arguments
- On lines 240-241, you instantiate your schematic items but assign the new instances to the arguments. The arguments of a method are completely separate variables containing the values that were passed to the method call. Assigning a value to an argument of registerSchematic doesn't affect the field whose value was passed as that argument. This is a basic Java concept that's probably explained properly in various tutorials.
- On lines 242-243, you try to register two items with the same name. The name passed to GameRegistry.registerItem must be unique to your mod, it can't be shared by multiple items.

Simple Flight isn't your average, wimpy flight mod that lets you creative fly in survival mode -- No, Simple Flight is HARDCORE, brah. You take fall damage if you aren't wearing glide-enabled wings, you only get a limited amount of flaps per flight, and there is a cooldown period between flaps.

How to Fly
Hover over your Wings item. It should say Max Flaps followed by a number. that number is the amount of flaps you can get in per flight before you'll either glide, or drop to the ground like a lemon... wrapped around a brick.
First, equip the wings. All the wings and gliders in this mod (so far, at least) are worn as a chestpiece. Then, you need to become airborne, either by jumping, or walking off of some sort of ledge. When in the air, you just have to press (or hold) whatever key you use when you JUMP (spacebar by default) in order to flap your wings - It's that simple!
Watch out for fall damage, though, or your first few landings might end up a just a bit messy. Or a lot.
Wing Types & Crafting
From Top to Bottom: Leather Glider, Leather Wings, Quick Feather Wings, Quick Leather Wings, Heavy Feather Wings, Heavy Leather Wings, Jetpack, Jetglider, Diamond Feather Wings (0.6+ only), Diamond Leather Wings (0.6+ only)
Wing Stats & Recipes
~ Key
Max Flaps - The amount of flaps you can get in per flight.
Glide - Do the wings enable gliding?
~ Dye Compatibility
The ability for wings to be dyed will change depending on which version of Simple Flight you're using. The latest versions (everything post-0.6) allow for all wings to be dyed, while earlier versions allow only leather and/or feather wings to be dyed.
~ The Wings
Diamond wings are not available prior to 0.6.
Enchantments
You will need to have installed Simple Flight 0.7 or later in order to use Enchantments.
Enchantment Types:
- Aerial Swiftness - decreases the cool-down period between flaps. (completely useless on jetpacks and jetgliders)
- Longer Flight - increases the amount of possible flaps for each flight.
Your wings must have no enchantments on them in order to be enchanted. If the wings are dyed, the dye will not be cleared upon crafting.
Place the unenchanted wings in a crafting area with one or more Lapis Lazuli blocks (for Longer Flight) or Redstone blocks (for Aerial Swiftness). The amount of blocks used in the recipe will determine the strength of the enchantment.
And that's it! You can do a little rain dance ritual if you really want to, but such things are not required in order to make the enchantments work

- Changes (0.8)

- Install Minecraft Forge for 1.7.x - there are plenty or tutorials available if you are not yet familiar with the process.
- Drag and drop the downloaded Simple Flight .jar into your mods folder.
- Optional: Back up your game worlds before playing.
- Known Issues (Simple Flight 0.8)
- Wings do not properly animate for other players on Multiplayer. (LAN unknown)
- FIXED in 0.6.1, AFFECTS 0.5 & 0.6 (?): Lagging where even though the jump key is pressed, wings aren't flapping... Doesn't happen when jump key is held.
- FIXED in 0.4, AFFECTS everything pre-0.5(?): Issues when playing on a Dedicated Server - Server and Client aren't communicating properly.
- FIXED in 0.3.1, AFFECTS 0.3: A critical error prevents Simple Flight from running on multiplayer servers (runs fine on smp, unknown if the error occurs during lan play)
- FIXED in 0.2, AFFECTS 0.1: When rendered entities are wearing wings/gliders, the game lags significantly (to the point of practical unplayability).

This is a great mod, despite difficulty to install and the research note LYING to me. (coming soon my ass, this thing is fully functional)
Also, the particles occasionally show the border.
Otherwise, great job, i look forward to more content.
