Marked Man is a PvP game mode that doesn't require any mods to run made by some members of the Arqade Community.
The map doesn't require any mods to run, but does need 2-8 (inclusive) players to work. Additional players can spectate. There are currently 5 maps to play on, but more will be added in the future, so keep checking back.
There are 8 classes, each with different strengths, one player is randomly selected to be the Marked Man, they get stronger equipment and a head start to run from the remaining 1-7 hunters. The game ends when the Marked Man is killed, or manages to kill all the hunters.

The http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Locked_Chest That have been added as an April fools joke should be kept as actual objects, they should no longer glow and can be found in dungeons and need keys made of gold (this would add another use for gold).

The keys would be destroyed after use like in Zelda but would contain more items than a regular chest.
In the code, the chest should not contain anything until unlocked so could be picked up and opened elsewhere.
They could be crafted to keep items safe from others.
alternatively a padlock could be created separately and added to chests or doors

How would you stop players using the other team's skin? Programming something like that would be a large project. Its not like it would cause imbalance, you can see player's names, and having the wrong uniform would invite friendly fire. Players should engage in PVP for the other player's :Bacon:, not for some flag (or )
I suppose a game mode shouldn't be added but if a flag or other unique item was added lots of new ideas would arise
I use my swords until they have about 5 hits left (so they don't break while fighting a creeper and then I die) so now I have like 10 swords that I can't really be used. But what of you could craft two items together and make a new item with the combine heath of the two you crafted (like in fallout) exept with no upper limit (except 100%)
I want to be able to visit biomes without loading new chunks. oh and not getting all the stuff I need while on easy (relative to after the update) mode
sorry, I only searched for flashlights and torches.
athough i think helmets wouldnlt be a good idea as you could just use that and have no need for regular torches at all

The only rule is that you must show your team and if made an actual game mode could not be broken

There could be specific skins for each team and job.
He jobs could be Guard (x2), Builder (x1), Colector (x3) and Assassin/Thief (x2)
It is perfectly legal to steal from the other group or kill them or even do deals to get useful stuff.
It is against the rules to change to the other teams skin

where is a Redstone torch this would make cave exploring easier especially as mod can spawn in brighter places.
