Eh, I ended up going creative and just giving myself the hyperdrive... but when I went to tatooine it's all jacked up. Aren't you supposed to appear in mos eisley or something? I popped up in the middle of a couple dome houses that were cut in half.
edit- nevermind, started a new world and mos eisley loaded in like it should
edit again- Do mobs not spawn? I've been wandering around tatooine for days and there's only the guys in mos eisley. no sand people or anything. Difficulty is on normal.
So, how exactly do you make a Tatooine hyperdrive in survival? The wiki has a recipe, but how do you make the ring thingy that's in the recipe? The wiki is fairly useless :-/
Is there a tutorial or anything for this mod? Or can someone guide me through like a simple airship or something? The wiki is almost completely useless.
Hello! I hope you can help. I started a SSP map using 1.7.10, and I play it open on LAN with my wife and son. My computer crashed shortly after we had all logged on to play, and when I start it up now it crashes shortly after starting it in SP. I hope you can help!
Minecraft 1.7.10, Java 1.8.0_25, Win7 x64, i7 processor and 16 gig of ram.

We use a lot of mods too. Sorry the file is so big.
I've tried it, but it doesn't seem to do any good. I got no better performance at 333mb than at 1024. I'm mostly curious as to the reasoning behind the suggestion. And also advice on how to let it use more than 1024.
I can understand how that would help on a system with little memory, don't want Minecraft cutting into OS slice of the pie. But on my 8 gigs? How does allocating less memory improve performance if using large texture packs and long view distance?
I'm having an issue with increasing available memory in Magic Launcher. It defaults to like 999mb, I can bump it up to 1024 with no problem, but any higher than that and I get a black screen upon loading the game. I have 8gb in my machine so this shouldn't be an issue I think.
I'm reading suggestions that say to reduce memory to like 512 or so for better performance... that seems counter intuitive. I want to run a big texture pack and a few mods and far view distance and lately I've been getting "out of memory" crashes. I can't see how reducing memory would help that situation.

Are there maps to download for this? I'd like to play on a home LAN server.
:edit: ah, found the Decimation world gen type, so never mind! Adding in the Ruins mod to generate lots of buildings works great with it too!

Derp, never mind! Ignore me!

Oh I see it, awesome, thanks!
Oh man, Yavin just brings my pc to it's metaphorical knees, wow.

Super cool mod thanks for your hard work! Playing it on a home server with my wife and kid, they love it too!
Quick question though, can you give a hint as to where the jedi recruiter on tatooine can be found? We've torn mos eisliey apart looking for him

Cool, thanks guys.
I think I've got a mod a conflict, whenever I add balloons and activate the ship, the balloons turn into little toy creeper things

Any thoughts on this? TIA!
