posted a message on The First Time You Saw a Creeper!
It was my first time playing Minecraft. My friend said we would show me the basic things I need to know before going and adventuring on my own. He made a server, I joined and spawned on a jungle biome (yey....). I somehow managed to get out of the jungle (I was still trying to get the controls) and made it into a plains biome. By the time we got out of the jungle it was already night. My guy was starving (I told him "I only have 3 chicken legs left") so I asked him to tell me where to find food. Since the server was on normal difficulty, mobs started spawning. He told me to go and look for any mobs. And on the disance I saw a creeper (I told him "There's an alligator looking thing"). He told me they dropped meat so I walked towards it and it walked towards me. I saw it get bigger followed by a hissing noise and *BOOM*. I will never forget how much my friend was laughing at me.

Experience with FTB or Tekkit: Used to play Tekkit probably about a year ago then I started playing FTB before they had the launcher and just had the zip file to play the Feed the Beast Map. I am very good at setting up complicated wiring and making everything look neat. The best mod I'm good at is Thermal Expansion.

Maturity level: Depending on the situation is how I act. If I see,for example, were talking about a problem someone is having with a setup they are using I do my best to help them in anyway I can. But if I see we are messing around and having a good time I start making jokes and have a good time. So I would rate myself a 7 or 8 on serious times.

Why you want to join us? I stopped playing on servers for like 2 months to play single player and just perfect on my ability to play FTB, which means making better houses and my developing my OCD at hiding visible cables in my house.

Do you accept the rules? I hearby declare that I will follow all the laws the server has impose for us to follow and obey.

Just a quick question. Which Direwolf20 pack are we using, the old one or the new version?

posted a message on Animals in Bukkit
Are you trying to implement a new mob to the game because if you are, you can not use Bukkit. You will need to give the players the texture file for the mob( which in this case I believe is "Kodo"). In order to add a new mob to the game you will need to make a mod which add the size of the mob, the mob's action, the texture, ect.. Or if you already have the mob in the game and you just want to spawn it into the game using a plugin, as walterhiggins said, use that code to spawn the mob into the game.

Correct me if I am wrong but Bukkit is for plugin support. Bukkit does not implement any new mob or anything related to that. It add plugins like Jail and Mob arena.
