72 gold ignots for:
30 seconds of regeneration IV
5 minutes of damage resistance &
5 minutes of fire resistance.
hmm.......
If they doubled everything, it would be useful, but now it would probably be the last food item (on a scale basis and on the back of their mind basis) that everyone would make.
True, I see this being used mostly on custom maps like vechs' maps.
Update July 9
Build a bridge to make it easier to get across the water near my mine, also built a silo. I stopped using texture packs since I'm using the latest snapshot.
The Bridge
Placing all of the water on the bridge was annoying to do because I had to keep going back down to get more.
The Silo
I built the silo mainly because I wanted to see how the sandstone blocks all looked when placed together on a large structure. The top of the silo is a bit to pointy in my opinion but I'm to lazy to pillar up to the top of it and try to fix it.
I decided to finally post a topic to show off my world that I'm doing for the city construction challenge. I've only been working on it for a few weeks now so I don't have to much done yet. To start with here's some pictures of my houses in the farming district. Only the outside though because there's not much on the insides of them.
This was the first house I had built in the town. Took quite a while to build because of the challenge restrictions of only using wooden tools at that time.
This was the second house for the town. I used more birch wood on this house because I had used most of the oak wood building the first house, also wanted to make a second floor from this house but never got around to doing that.
For this house I just wanted to try out a different roof design, not much else to say about it.
Those are houses four and five. Personally I don't like them much.
Next up is the community structures I built for the town.
The Windmill and wheat farm
Took me a long time to finish this because I wasn't able to use shears yet so I had to kill the sheep for their wool. It took five hundred forty four wool to build the blades of it. I'm not sure how much wood it took but it wasn't hard to collect it all while waiting for the sheep to breed. The wheat farm contains around one thousand four hundred wheat in it. The water sources are seven blocks away from each other.
The Town Hall
This is my least favorite of all my buildings I've built so far. I feel like I used way to many wooden planks in it. I think I might tear it down later and rebuild a better one somewhere else but for now I already have enough stuff I need to work on building. If you guys want I can post more pictures of the inside. I just didn't have many pictures of it because I avoid going near it.
The Inn
I'll post more pictures later, I need to fix all the doors in it because some zombies attacked it.
The Market District
Currently this is the biggest project on my map. At the center of it is the licensing office, which is 30x30. Each of the wool areas around it are also 30x30 and use three colored wools each. I have four of eight sections done so far, still have four more to build. The white wool walkway around the area is only a forth of the way done right now. The current plan is for the market district to have eighteen stalls and 8 shops when it's finished but I don't know what kind of shops to make. Feel free to suggest any ideas you have.
Random Stuff
The Sheep Pens
These current sheep pens the second design I've tried out so far. The first one had much for space for them to move around and eat grass but it made collecting the wool a pain. With the current design all I have to do is walk along the edges of the pens to get the wool.
The strip mine
This is currently my main method of getting the resources I need for my buildings. Later on it will be the center of my mining district. At first I used TNT to mine the area quicker but I ended up using a lot of sand making it. I had to stop using TNT because one of my future projects is going to need a lot of sandstone so I'll have to save my sand from now on and do the mining with a pickaxe.
And that's all for now. Feel free to tell me what you think or anything you think I should add to the town.
This is a pretty common bug with computers that aren't very good. The easiest way to aviod it is before you go through the portal to put minecraft on all the lowest settings then save and quit. Next you completely close minecraft then start it again, as soon as you load the world go through the portal.

Worked on doing a bit of terraforming to make space for future buildings.

Update June 2
Since a couple of people requested it here is the download link to the map. It's a 62.75mb download.
