Although the Pixel Arts are pretty good, I can't help but think you used SpriteCraft to import them in, although you said you didn't.
The resolution is just too good for you to do it by hand (unless you seriously have a lot of time on your hands).

Give each member of your team a massive hug!
May 2, 2012I posting this, hoping that it will catch the eye of a decent builder specializing in a modern style.Posted in: Server Recruitment
I am currently building a modern city, but I think i've bitten off more than I can chew and it would be a great shame to abandon it at this point.
This city is not just for show, it will be the setting of a zombie apocalypse adventure game. The idea is not original, but I want this to be the best.
Now, in order for it to be the best, I am a firm believer that the setting has to have spectacular attention to detail to place the player into a realistic atmosphere.
I am looking for one, maybe more people, with loads of spare time, and that is prepared to work WITH me (not FOR me) and help this city grow.
The ideal candidate will need:
* To be able to build confidently in an effective modern style
* Build to a realistic scale.
* To be able to research and get inspiration.
* Good at planning, and designing the areas around buildings.
* Good at world edit
* Not afraid to be able to complete medium to large scale buildings.
* Work around a proper and realistic floor plan.
* Skype is a plus.
Look at my projects for a benchmark.
It is not only about building, you will also be helping me develop the game stages, lore, and other things related to this project.
I am running the server 24/7 (not public by any stretch of the imagination), and it utilizes a custom texture pack which I will give to you.
I am completely serious about this project, and it is about time that someone with the same building experiance who is able to spend a lot of attention to detail will help me make this dream a reality. Eventually, I want to move from building to coding once a sizable chunk of the map is complete.
Please fill in the following:
Playtime per day (in hours):
Images your your previous work?
Remember, realism is key, and I know that decent modern builders are hard to come by, but I believe there is someone out there can help me make something special.
I am looking for something that is rare, so prepare to be declined!

I wanted to save time collecting resources, but not necessarily building. For me, that's the fun in Minecraft. I guess I'm always against editors because I could have made a more realistic tree even faster in, say, 3ds Max, but the whole point of the game for me is to build crazy things block by block. If you're not doing that, why play Minecraft?
Well congratulations on such a good build! I wish I had your time and patience. :smile.gif:
