I....never really liked these things. These "jokes."
And the only thing I can relate to is using the wrong keys in another game after playing a lot of Minecraft.
At the top of my list (well, technically at the bottom in this case ) are the nostalgic reactionaries who complain about new features and updates, and how the game's quality has deteriorated with every update, even when they add entirely optional features.

If I had to choose between one or the other, I would choose the Yogscast. Their fans aren't a bunch of overzealous 8-year-olds who scream "BUDTERRR!!!11!!" and "SQWIDZ R EEVILLL!!!!!1111!!!1" wherever they go.

I think everyone posting on this topic so far is overreacting at the word "depressing" and overlooking the main point of the topic.
The OP is saying that the new colors are much blander looking, and in older versions of the game they were much more vibrant and lively, but not radioactive looking like in alpha.
It could work, but maybe add a door to his house, and make the loot in his chest the same as a bonus chest, because blacksmith loot is a little OP IMO
The house has a door. Probably should have taken a picture of the side that had the door on it... That could work for loot, though perhaps somewhere inbetween a blacksmith's chest and bonus chest loot, so that its a bit more useful, cause other than apples bonus chest loot sucks after the first minute or so of the game
