I found Oblivion to be far better overall than Skyrim. I personally found the land of Cyrodiil to be much more beautiful than Skyrim in a lot of ways, and just overall something magical about it. Sure, I know Skyrim is supposed to be dark and cold but it doesn't feel like it was supposed to feel to me. Without mods bandits living in the coldest ends of Skyrim just wear light leather outfits and shoes, and some of the female versions skimp out even more. It would make more sense for them to be wearing thick fur collars, hoods, and cuirasses. Thankfully there are mods that fix this among other things I feel did not give Skyrim the atmosphere it should have had.
I also liked the Oblivion skill sets and classes opposed to what Skyrim offers. There was a lot more variety and more skills in Oblivion. The Mysticism school of magic disappeared completely in Skyrim, as did hand to hand skills. Blade and Blunt were instead turned into One-Handed and Two-Handed which makes less sense to me. You would use a bladed weapon differently than a blunt-headed weapon, regardless if they are both one-handed or two-handed. Not that two-handed weapons were very useful anyway.
Emeralds are used to trade with villagers, so, sometimes they're useful =P But most trades proposals suck so... >< But, in Economy servers, they're one of the most valuable items.
Imagine if you could put gems on armor/tools. Wouldn't have any effect, only purely cosmetic.
Or something. They're not really worth going after right now. They still have a use, but it's just one of those things.
I just think if you can't put mods on you minecraft you should be able to have some sought of fun stuff to muck around with and i think there should be a list of mods you can choose to put on off the menu
Well...you can put mods on Minecraft though. I don't see what you mean.
i also think there should be vehicles such at helicopters, cars, better boats and planes if you agree or you just want to get people to know what you want just reply with what you want to say.
No. Keep vehicles like helicopters and cars in mods.
Since this topic is about the issue...anyone know if uploaded skins to minecraft.net are still supported for the older versions of Minecraft? (Playing on one of the old alpha versions - 1.2.6.) Also, when will the new skin layout take final place?
This thread is misleading. You make it seem as if your sanity is slipping away and that you're literally losing your mind. With past experiences, I could've helped.
I'm sure you'll find somebody actually with this dilemma soon enough here, there are topics about it almost everyday in Off Topic...

Another weather-locked biome would be pretty cool.

Then don't use a cracked version, and don't use an ancient computer.

I think a tropical biome would be nice though.

Well actually I'm not sure about Mac, but Linux really is quite secure. Have you ever actually used it by chance?

RAM isn't really going to help increase your FPS much or really even have any affect on it.
