Possible upcoming Scenario

PvP Free for All Challenge
Players will be given access to the server at a specified time, for a specified amount of time.
Their task will be to find and collect as many of a certain item as possible while trying to fend off the other players. The item will either be pumpkins, tamed wolves, or spawned in sponge blocks that I have hidden.
The twist: players will be unable to build chests!
Players will be caught in a struggle to run out into the open to collect their goodies, yet will need to stay hidden because other players can attack them and take all of their collected goodies.

I will need to determine which of the three items is the best for balance and gameplay purposes. Maybe all three and each are worth a specific amount of points. Maybe players should be able to use chests, though this is sort of my favorite part of the scenario. Also this scenario favors players that spend more time playing in the scenario, which is to some degree unfair. Maybe their should be teams.

We have discovered the Nether Stronghold. Now we will explore it and farm some of the creatures that we find so that we can prepare ourselves for our main goal, the dragon.

I am currently hosting a server that has a small community of people that are all trying to work towards the common goal of killing the Enderdragon. We are playing completely legit and with no plugins. After this small challenge is over I am going to reset the server and we are going to do something else along the same lines. This server is all about actually surviving and working as a team with others.

Hey I don't mean to bother you, you posted on my server earlier this week. My server has most of the qualities you are looking for. I know you did not like this weeks challenge, but if you send me your app I can whitelist you and I will let you know what the coming weeks challenges are, I will probably have one that you like more.

This is the inside of our meeting hall. It is a board of all of the tasks that need to be completed for us to be able to fight the enderdragon.

Here is the list:
Build enchanting table in the sanctum (the building we will use to house the brewing stands and enchant tables and such).
Build brewing stand and cauldron in the sanctum
Build a chicken farm so that we can produce arrows. Chickens are very scarce where we are right now. This is making our scenario challenging!
Stockpile at least 10 Eyes of Ender. We estimate that this is the amount we will need to eventually find and repair the End portal.
Explore the Nether and find its stronghold.
Gather precious ores from the strip mine
Find then farm some watermelon
Gather brewing materials and then stockpile them in the Sanctum
Stockpile food in the Granary and Freezer

I've recently started playing on this server.
According to the topic, there will be a maximum of seven people in this scenario.
Therefore, I have listed 7 jobs. Here they are:
1 Farmer
1 Alchemist
1 Enchanter
2 Miners
1 Hunter
1 Gatherer
I will cross the jobs out as they are picked out.
However, if you feel that you would do better in a different job, just ask and I will see if I can get people to swap jobs, or just add another slot to that job and get rid of the other one.

I just wanted to clarify two things. These are jobs only pertain to this week's challenge, and people can do other things besides their job. Having the job title means you are sort of an authority in that area. Besides that thanks Westwind3!!!

Construction has begun on one of the key buildings in this scenario.

The Strip Mine

This mine will be created using the strategies prescribed by the elites of minecraft. This beautiful nugget of minecraft knowhow tells players how to find diamonds and ore in the most efficient manner possible.

Strategies like this are the sorts of things players on this server will regularly disscuss and utilize while trying to overcome the weekly challenges.

If your interested in doing one of my challenges then send me an app that I have posted on ScenarioCraft. I do not need anybody to make any redstone contraptions right now, though I may at some point.

I think I have got just the thing! I am creating a new server that will have a different challenge every week. After each challenge the server will be reset for the next one. I do not currently have any custom challenge maps up right now, this weeks challenge is just a group dwarf-fortress style expedition to kill the enderdragon, but next weeks challenge can be a map by vech's if I get a lot of people that would like to do that.
