This mod has come such a long way since I last checked it out. It's absolutely amazing!

However, I have to join the biome shrink FAQ be damned brigade. Would you consider making a biome size config option? I'm assuming it wouldn't be incredibly difficult since many mods that add this many biomes have it. And it would shut up those of us whining about their size without altering gameplay for those who love it the way it is.

I'd even be willing to help you out with some textures (if you need it.) I'm a professional artist for comic books and card games, and did several textures for Thaumcraft (zombie brain, nitor, totems, etc.) and Ars Magica (Essence Refiner)

Hey ted80! I don't see a donation link anywhere. What's the best way to send you a few bucks as a thank you for continuing this fantastic mod?

I'm not sure how hard this would be to code but would be awesome if you could pull it off.

    Mod: Harder beds

Reason: In the old days of Minecraft you had to build a shelter and light it before you felt safe. These days as long as you are able to get 3 wool and make a bed you're safe. You can plop down a bed in the middle of a forest with no shelter or torches and be completely safe from monsters. It has taken away any sense of challenge in Minecraft and ruined it in my opinion.

What it does: Monsters still follow the same spawning logic while you're sleeping as they would if you were awake.

    Thanks!

I don't have a donation button right now, but since there is some interest, I would be happy to add one. :D Any donations would be extremely appreciated! :D

Edit: Just added a donation button. ;)

Great! I just sent a couple of bucks.

I would encourage others to do the same to any mods they use regularly. These mod makers put in hours of hard work and if you met them in real life wouldn't you want to buy them a drink as a thank you?

Outstanding update! Thanks so much for adding the new interaction option.

Do you have a donation option anywhere? I'd like to tip you a few bucks for all your hard work.

"Oh look I saw a guy with a Ferrari, that guy is disrespecting me and that means I've got to have one too."

No, that's not how the world works.

If you really don't want to have the mod "shoved in your face", don't watch the ForgeCraft videos. Simple. Just be thankful someone as wonderful as Soaryn has made this mod and it will be released.

Ok, now imagine that guy parks his Ferrari in your driveway everyday and makes you sit in it with the keys but you can't actually drive it. When you turn on the TV your favorite show now features that exact Ferrari being driven by all of your friends. Then, when it finally looks like he's going to let you drive the Ferrari, he hands you the keys, asks you to have a seat and then says "Now you can turn the headlights on...but you still can't drive it."

Do you like being passive agressive? Is it amusing? Well not anymore! :D Call now and you can continue waiting on XyCraft!
Seriously how does this help anyone? XyCraft is a WIP mod in *gasp* the WIP Section of the forums. So...tell me.... why are you upset? I am here to make a mod. I am modding because I had once found it fun, but with this continual spiral of "Whaaaa I want this to release now because..well... I want it". To me that just flairs immaturity.
I am working extremely hard to juggle, XyCraft modding, College, my sanity, and my actual life. So I thank you for being passive aggressive. It means a lot to me. Because... you know...that is a plus.

I apologize if my post offended you. Maybe I didn't explain well enough why the way you've handled Xycraft release is frustrating. See, I don't care if you take forever to release something I know nothing about. I'm sure there are plenty of great future mods in the WIP section that I am oblivious to. The problem is everywhere I look Xycraft is slapping in my face saying "Look at me! I'm shiny and new and you can't have me!" When I watch Direwolf20's videos, Xycraft is featured prominantly. When I load up my world and go mining there are tons of useless Xycraft ores everywhere I turn. It's akin to being roommates with a hot model who constantly teases then shuns you.

I'm not one of those clamoring for you to release machines now. I understand they aren't done and I don't want you to rush buggy versions of them. However, why couldn't you have released xycraft glass or tanks? Are they buggy? They haven't seemed buggy from what I've seen. At least then the thousands of us who aren't on Forgecraft would have something to do with our ores besides make lamps or aesthetic blocks.

The other problem is over-promising and under-delivering. In my job I often have deadlines where I have to tell someone when I think I can get something done. If I were to tell someone I was going to have something done in 2-3 days tops and then took almost 3 weeks to release it I don't think they would be very happy with me. I realize you were waiting on dependencies from other mods but I'm guessing that wasn't an unknown factor at the time. Please don't take this as an attack but advice for future communications.

Lastly, don't let the criticism stress you out. You have done a great job and it's obvious you've put a lot of hard work and care into this. Modding should be fun. After all, you're not getting paid to do this.

I just tested this out in a sorting system with redpower 2 pneumatic pipes and it works beautifully! Everything pops right into the shelves and looks great!

Any chance of making the enchantment ID changeable in the config file? This conflicts with the More Enchantments mod and neither has a changeable ID option in the config file.

The fact that the glass, tanks, fabricator, etc. are so prominent in Direwolf's Forgecraft videos really adds to the frustration. Not to mention the current version of Xycraft is so useless to everyone else in the world right now. I haven't seen any game breaking bugs. I really just wish he would release the Forgecraft version for 1.4.7.

It really does remind me of when Eloraam released RP2 for 1.4.6 when everyone else was still on 1.4.5. Even though she supposedly had a 1.4.5 version that she could have released she didn't because...no good reason. So everyone who had been playing for so long in 1.4.5 waiting for RP2 to finally release had to wait that much longer for all the other mods they play to update to 1.4.6.
