Well, I guess the time has come for me to make the announcement. I've been sitting here watching everything you guys have to say and before I go on I'd like to say how much I love each and every one of you that I have had the chance to know over the past 2 1/2 years. I never thought that Lockdown would be special to so many people including myself. We grew from this little nothing server to something that affected so many people and allowed me to get to know an amazing group of people that I wouldn't have had to chance to otherwise. I wouldn't take anything over what I've experienced with you guys. The support all of you have shown to the server and myself is unmeasurable. I've had the opportunity to share some of the best times of my life with all of you.
Now, let's get on to what I've been putting off for the past few weeks. Lockdown will be closing. Not in the way most of you are thinking though. Lately there has been talk between me and a few other people and we've decided to merge lockdown into an upcoming network. So, basically the server that most of you know will be closing but Jookes, the staff, admins, and myself will be joining with another team to open a full network. The network will be opening in December. It will have a prison server as well. (Of course). We will not be using the map Lockdown currently uses, and no you can not have a copy of the map. Items/Money/Ranks will not be transferring. However, all previous Lockdown donators will have a donation rank on the network if you choose to join. You're more than welcome to keep track of the opening date here: https://www.nyxcraft.net/
In a few days/weeks this forum will be locked and staff/admin Skype chats will be shut down. I'm more than willing to keep a skype chat available if you would like to join. Just private message me and let me know if you're interested. The teamspeak will remain online. I have no reason or want to close it as of now. Once the network opens, the lockdownprison.com IP address will be forwarded to the network instead of the original server.
Every good thing has to come to an end sometime. Although, this really isn't an ending for us. It's the start of something else and I truly hope that all of you will come with us for the next step. In all seriousness though, I would like to Formally introduce myself. I have had past experiences with prison servers (I have been playing one for nearly 2 years) and I feel that Lockdown has huge potential to gain players once again (Like it did before from what I heard in-game). It just needs a little encouragement and support. I would like to offer my abilities to improve your server in any way. For example, I noticed your OP was a little bit messy and difficult to navigate. Hell, I couldn't find the IP I had to go on a little google hunt to find it. I have been experienced with Photoshop for over a year now. If you're willing to consider, I could put some of my free time into making a new OP for you. It would be more organized and pleasing to the eye then your current one (No offense, yours works just as well). If you have any ideas, need help, or just someone to talk to, hit me up with a PM on these forums. Hope to see all you guys In-Game
There does seem to be a small bug with the Initiate backpacks. We're aware of it and I'm sure Jookes can get that fixed. If you've run into any problems with them please tell us so we know. Thank you!
All "ubers" have been transferred. It was the biggest and most time consuming so we tackled it first.
*ALL premium packs will be completed by July 29th. Exceptions include pets and silk spawners. It'll be done as soon as we can. Promise.
Custom prefixes, suffixes, and colored name are fully completed and functional. You can set them 100% by yourself in game. Commands will be listed below. There is a character limit (of course). You have the option of all color codes limited to 2 max per perk, excluding colored name. Meaning, your prefix can have 2 colors and your suffix can have 2 colors. We will be looking to implement nicknames and possible 2 color names in the future. Also, no offensive settings. We will remove it and you will lose access to change it. No exceptions.
Item transfers begin tonight. They will be available for collection tomorrow. Make sure you get your t-cells by 14 days after they are available as I'll be removing them at that point.
Donor packs are still being transferred. All "EULA" changes will be made by the 1st.
