I guess the OP piston could work, and the Silk Touch enchanting simply creating a new block instead of enchanting the block, but moving tile entities does not work for a reason. I don't mod and I know this.
You seem to be good at making suggestions people like. I support as I'm pretty sure if skeletons know how to use swords and bows (for shooting) then they probably are smart enough to figure out how to bash things in the face with a bow.
I agree, it would be fun to mess around with. When I read the title, I thought you were going to suggest something like that spell in The Elder Scrolls that makes enemies attack each other.
I also suggesting that it should be as a stat and also a potion, being brewed with something and an Mundane potion. Not sure what the item should be.
Let's add the sprint bar, urine bar, crap bar, suffocation bar, heat bar, saturation bar, vitamin bar, comfort bar, sanity bar, loneliness bar and much more!

This would be cool, how about a potion that when under it's effect, if you attack an animal then you disguise as it for the rest of the potion effect, but you could switch disguises by attacking another animal?

They don't give us a choice now. It's either Very Easy (peaceful), Hard (hard), Hard (easy), or Hard (normal).
Seriously? Why the heck are we forced to deal with these endless swarms of unstopable villager mauling zombies? It's stupid. We should have scaled difficulty, not Hard, with Easy and Normal being the same but with slightly less damage.
It's either stay inside and sleep to skip the night, stay inside and do something (ride a minecart, read/write a book, do some brewing, put on earmuffs to block out the 20 zombies banging on the door) or get attacked by zombies, literally ALL NIGHT.
I didn't even read the rule clearly but at least I know that I can be defender or destoryer. So, I'll be the destroyer and I'll use mod and spawn 500 giant to attack, plus meteors from meteor mod.
