posted a message on Better Cats - More cat breeds and more realistic models.

    READ BEFORE USING
This resource pack works for minecraft versions 1.19.2 and below down to version 1.8.9.
This resource pack requires Optifine(Forge) OR Fabric with the mods listed in the spoiler below to work.

Note 1: using this resource pack with Fabric may cause some very minor bugs in certain cat models.

Note 2: Some base functions are slightly bugged but can be fixed using the following workaround:
To make the cat breeds appear in-game, press F3 + T after taming a cat/ giving a tamed cat a supported name tag.

    ⚠️

VERY IMPORTANT: See the required mod configs in the screenshots here: Click here

I uploaded my resource pack and it got removed for spam. I read somewhere that you have to report it as ''this is not spam'', but I can't find the report button anywhere. Can anyone help?

    Download:

For when the widget doesn't work:

    DOWNLOAD

    READ BEFORE USING:

    • Requires optifine to work. When the game asks if you're sure you want to load this pack because it was made for an older version of minecraft, press the yes button and it will work.
    • Enable custom entity models and random entities in the settings or else it won't work.

This resource pack adds 9 dog breeds. Each breed comes in at least 2 varieties. More breeds and textures coming in the future.

How it works & Getting a specific type of dog:

A newly tamed wolf turns into a random dog. Name tags can be used to get a specific type of dog. See the list below for supported name tags

    Supported name tags (Case-insensitive) :

    - wolf
    - border collie
    - labrador
    - golden retriever
    - husky
    - german shepherd
    - corgi
    - pug
    - dalmatian
    - samoyed

Is there any way to pre-generate java entities in blockbench so you can edit them with ease?
