Yeah. Thanks. I just need mess around a little more with it. Going for CC to OC is a little difficult when it has been a long time ago since I have used it
But thanks for all

Hmmm, probably no firewall, I don't think it's necessary. It would sound cool, but there'd be no practical advantage: the servers can always just communicate directly with each other by using their addresses (using modem.send instead of modem.broadcast).
Yeah. By the way why is address so long ? is it really necessary to have that many possible units ?

Nice! This is actually very close to what I imagined they might look like (servers with remote terminals are indeed planned after talking some more with LordFokas, still taking some time to think through the details, though).
Awesome ! I can't wait.
Ohh and one other thing. If you doing mind.
A firewall. That you could put inside the server rack. So you could have a sub network inside a rack case. and only allow some port to be open so all the units can talk to each other with out disturbing the network outside the rack case. ( I know you could just use a some other port than on the rest of the network. )

Thanks for clarifying. Did you make sure you installed the 64bit version of the Visual C++ runtime? Because that and the Windows kernel are really the only dependencies in that DLL. If you did, just for the sake of it could you try installing the 32bit version, too, and see what happens? Sorry for the inconvenience.
Soo.. Uhmm.. I needed to install the 32Bit version of Visual C++
And it's working now. Thanks for it.

I'll try to reproduce. In the meantime, are you sure the energy is being transferred? For example, try using the analyzer on the computer case (sneaky activate) and see if it has any stored energy. That should also print the computer's last error message, if it got far enough. If there is power, can you have a look if there's anything suspicious in your log files? Also, what system are you running Minecraft on? (Windows, Linux?)
Edit: works fine on my end, so it's either something going wrong with TE interaction or something the mod doesn't like about your system. Could you be more specific in how you try to get the TE energy into the computer? Energy Cell?
Hmm, well I guess when I take the keyboard's orientation into account it can work, yes. The problem is which screen does it "belong to" if there's a screen below it, too? But that may be a negligible corner case where it can just work for both screen... I'll add it to the list.
I'm running Windows 7. Updated "VS2012 Visual C++ Runtime" to the newest version. Computer have power. and using it.
But I just notice I get this.

Dec 17, 2013Really like the look of this mod and the way it acts. But I have a little problem.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
I can't turn on any of the computers. I'm running the latests recommended forge(953). and a clean client with only TE on.
Any attempt to turn on the computer is failing. I have followed the guide and tried to switch TE with BC. To no help.
I wonder if you may have a solution to my problem?
Last thing for you.

I started using this mod yesterday and I really like it, but I think I found a bug in version 0.1.5.2.
When I smash an ore I get the wrong ground ore. e.g. Nickel gives me ground Wolframite.
It's a known issue. And we are working on it. Thank you for report it. If you find anymore bug please report then
And we hope you keep playing with our mod.

This mod looks awesome, but if I install it into say FTB or a similar pack, how will it work with other ores? From what I understand, chalcopyrite is basically copper, but is it the same as copper in the oregen? What ores in this mod are not common in other tech mods?
Because I already had to uninstall xycraft due to disco bowl effect in caves, and would prefer not to add too many new ores.
Would it be possible for you to make alternate receipts on how to craft the materials so we who prefer less world gen can use that?
I would suggest you to wait until we have more stable version of ED. ( Maybe Beta ) I can not stress this enough. I would recommend you not to be playing a survival map with our mod right now. The Alpha is only for testing for bug and trying out a barebone version of ED. The latest build I have. A lot of things have been change. Not mod wise. But coding wise. We are adding a lot of new features.
But if you want to test out ED. Go a head. We will gladly answer all your questions..

The good thing about this mod is that it moves to replace IC2.
We are not trying to replace any tech mod. We are trying to make a mod that everyone wants to use. But we are trying to make some new mechanics to play with

Hi Looking for a way to adjust the ore distribution. And can not use spud peeler on rubber trees.
You can't adjust the ore distribution yet. We are working on it.
Quote from Nisheeth
From what I understand, the spud peeler only works on the second wool block in the tree. The amount of sap will be different based on the size, but there will only be one block you can tap into.
That is correct sir.
You cannot use the spud peeler on a wood log you placed or place a tree tap on it. You get 1 bucket of latex per log. And yes you have to use the spud peeler on the second block on the tree.

Guys, I still dont understand why do we need that "clean room"
The clean room is required to start making the Nano circuits. But the clean room is just a part. Of a lot of things you need. There will be coming a lot more soon. But for now please enjoy the alpha. We will keep you all updated.

Yeah I checked that out yesterday, it's shaping up to be a cool mod as I said before. And the website looks pretty sexy.
We are trying our best to keep this mod awesome. But if the stuff you waited for is not in the alpha. It's in the beta. Or in an alpha update We are working really hard to keep everybody happy. And don't you guys worry All the nano circuit you want. WILL come. Don't worry. We have not forgot it. But as cyanide said " We need to have the basic mod done. Before we can add the nano circuit "
Plus I have a some pretty neat models for end game
