I recommend the following song be placed on the OP, a theme to be played when you are close to a boss:

I've played Amnesia, and let me tell you that this song builds up tension. It's perfect for reminding the player of the danger he is about to face.

The following is a heavy update to my Diadorii idea. Tell me what I could do to put this on the OP.

    Yellow Baron

    Setting: Any Biome

Entrance: A portal made out of indestructible netherrack. Looks similar to a protal to the Nether/Aether. Randomly spawns on sea level.

Dungeon: Entering the portal teleports you to the beginning of the Yellow Baron's dungeon. This is a 60 (number up for discussion) block long dungeon with 20 block high walls. It is also 20 blocks wide. The walls are made out of indestructible glowstone, meaning that you can't mine you way out upon triggering the boss. As soon as you enter thtough the gate, you will see a pad that you may walk on to trigger the boss. You cannot fully enter without pressing this button. The inside of the structure is complex. The complexity will be explained shortly.

Boss: The Baron is a bit larger than the average mob. He resembles a human, but is cursed with bright yellow skin. This makes it easier for one to see him from afar, since it illuminates in pitch black darkness.

Event: Upon pressing the button mentioned before, the door behind you will be closed until the encounter has been finished. Also, by pressing the button, lit torches are lined on the walls. And the glowstone brightens.

Objective: Defeat the Baron by finishing the obstacle course set in front of you. The Baron is at the very end of the course. The course requires platforming and dodging skill. Every obstacle has a pit that you can potentially fall down into. These pits will not instantly kill you, thanks to water being placed at the bottom, but there are monster mobs in each that will attempt to do you harm. A ladder can be climbed to take you to the beginning of the obstacle you just failed to pass.

The following are prerendered obstacles that you must face:

    :Red: = Pit
    :cobblestone: = Ground/pillar
    [] = floor/wall

    Hallway (looking from above):

    :cobblestone: [] [] [] :cobblestone: [] [] :cobblestone:
    :cobblestone: [] :cobblestone: [] [] [] [] :cobblestone:
    :cobblestone: [] [] [] [] [] [] :cobblestone:
    :cobblestone: [] [] [] [] [] :cobblestone: :cobblestone:
    :cobblestone: [] [] [] [] [] [] :cobblestone:
:Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red:

A narrow hallway which happens to be prime terrain to be hit by the Baron's moves. You must hide behind the cobblestones in order to pass safely.

    Crumbling Pillars (looking from above):

:cobblestone: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :cobblestone: :Red: :Red:
:Red: :Red: :cobblestone: :Red: :Red: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :Red:
:Red: :Red: :Red: :cobblestone: :Red: :Red: :Red: :cobblestone:
:Red: :cobblestone: :Red: :Red: :Red: :cobblestone: :Red: :Red:
:Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :Red: :Red:
:Red: :Red: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :cobblestone: :Red: :Red:

You must hop from pillar to pillar in order to survive this obstacle, all while dodging a perfectly aimed hit from the Baron.

    Leap of Faith (looking sideways).

    :cobblestone: :cobblestone: [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] :cobblestone:
    [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] :cobblestone:
    [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] :cobblestone:
    [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] :cobblestone:
    [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] [] :cobblestone:
:Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :cobblestone: :cobblestone:

Leap with supreme accuracy and make it, or fall short and face the depths below.

    Balancing Poles (looking from above):
:|: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :|:
:|: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :|:
:|: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :|:
:Red: :|: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :|: :Red:
:Red: :Red: :|: :Red: :Red: :|: :Red: :Red:
:Red: :Red: :Red: :|: :|: :Red: :Red: :Red:
:Red: :Red: :Red: :|: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red:
:Red: :Red: :Red: :Red: :|: :Red: :Red: :Red:
:Red: :Red: :Red: :|: :Red: :Red: :Red: :Red:

You will have to be quick on your feet in order to survive here. It will almost be assured that you will fall if you are hit while passing this obstacle.

    Boss moves:

Push: The Baron throws a gust of wind at you at an abnormally fast speed (1 every 2.5 seconds), if you are hit by it, you will be forced backwards and up. Being hit does no damage, however, there is a possibility of fall damage. Push curved slightly towards your present location.
Accumulate: The Baron throws an especially large gust of wind at you at tremendous speed (1 every 5 "push"es. If you are hit, you will be forced back, probably to the previous objective. You will not be harmed when hit, and the only way to dodge this throw is by standing still.

Note: Both abilties reduce in speed linearly the closer you are to the ending.

Ending: Pressing another button at the end of the course defeats the boss, and the prize will be thrown at you.

    Prize: Wind Box

The Wind box acts as a passive buff to your running speed. After running forward for 2.5 seconds, your run speed will increase by 175%. This effect wears off once you turn into another direction, or stop. This ability works so long as you have the watch in your inventory.

Interesting idea. I like the idea of a boss that uses a hazardous lair, and tries to push you in to it. At the moment, your idea kind of resembles donkey kong: a boss is trying to push you into traps, and you're trying to reach it.

I think the experience should be more like an actual duel, where you have to jump over pits to avoid falling in. An actual obstacle course would be too easy to bypass: just break out of the dungeon, and drill back in on the other end.

Thank you for your analysis, I will update this boss tomorrow.

I love this concept, and suggest an idea of my own:

Diadorii (pronounced dee-uh-doh-rye)(This is a created creature of mine)

    Setting: grassland (normal) biome.
Dungeon: This is a 60 (number up for discussion) block long dungeon with 12 block high walls. The walls are made out of bedrock, meaning that you can't mine you way out upon triggering the boss. The entrance is a rectangular door made out of moss stone. As soon as you enter, you will see a pad that you may walk on to trigger the boss. You cannot fully enter without pressing this button. The inside of the structure is narrow and complex. The complexity will be explained shortly.

Boss: The Diadorii is a bit larger than the average mob, and can be noted for being composed out of bright yellow matter. The brightness of it's skin acts as light for him.

Event: Upon pressing the button mentioned before, the door behind you will be closed until the encounter has been finished. Also, by pressing the button, lit torches are lined on the walls.

Objective: Defeat the Diadorii by finishing the obstacle course set in front of you. The Diadorii is in the very front of the course.

    Boss moves:
Push: The Diadorii throws a gust of wind at you at an abnormally fast speed (1 every 2.5 seconds), if you are hit by it, you will be forced down. Being hit does 1/2 a heart of damage.
Accumulate: The Diadorii throws an especially large gust of wind at you at tremendous speed (1 every 5 "push"es. If you are hit, you will be forced back, potentially to the previous objective.

Everyone loves good food, and no society is complete without a good food supply. So why not have a food update?! As it stands, we only have pork, fish, stew, bread, and apples. This simply will not do, for any human being would eventually become sick with such a low span of foods. Finally, this would make an even greater amount of multiplayer jobs, allowing for more diversity online. Here is MY list of goods that should be added to future updates:

    Sushi:
