So... I've basically finished the riding code for flying and land-based pokemon and was playing around with movement speeds. I'm thinking that what I will do is link (with an inverse exponential) the pokemons speed stat with it's movement speed an it's hp stat with an endurance stat so that low-level/weak pokemon will be considerably slower/fly lower and last for a much shorter time.
The appealing thing for me here is that it gives a dual emphasis then on training these pokemon as you will be able to improve their performance. The other awesome thing about this is that it would open up the ability to have races (hence the minigame in the title)!
What do you guys think?
