    This is a good point. Up till now we'd assumed people would carry them with them. Though grethen and i came up with a new take on they system for saving pokemon which will hopefully stop all these errors anyway

    Golden is a useless material that isn't exactly difficult to find.
    Apples make sense to me because we're healing pokemon and Apples used to heal people =P
    Iron bars make sense if you're building a box that needs to be sturdy, yes? =)
    Redstone dust as it's electronic. Right?

    Neat idea for after we configure pokemon into the game comfortably and some more of the most important stuff: A Pokemart, Daycare, and, Pokemon center. After I get a subtle grasp on how a Testificate village spawns... We could replace the whole village idea with the three buildings above. For the towny feel, if I get good enough, maybe I can make npc's who talk to you =) [feels like a dream =(]


    I don't mind that recipe.

    You're right on the spawning villages thing. Playing around with this on my own has shown me that it isn't that much fun if you're staying still cause once you've knocked out all the local pokemon there isn't much to do. Where this mod really works well is when you don't have a fixed home and rather can just roam and find places to heal your pokemon on the way. Of course spawning gyms in some of these towns would be awesome too

    I can't say i've even looked at the other mods in quite some time now. I used to follow pokemobs a bit but updating was just way too slow so i stopped bothering. Still good to know my gui is first. We will have 12 pokemon in the next update if all goes to plan

    Been playing around with rendering size of the pokemon, wanted to have some sort of visual way of showing level so i built a scaling system in so that they grow slightly each level:

    that's a level 5 and level 8 bulbasaur standing beside each other.

    Low level pokemon do look pretty adorable while high level ones are quite intimidating. I'm just scaling by a percentage of their actual size so they stay within the bounds of the heights in the bulbapedia

    Have introduced a distinction between empty and full pokeballs so the textures can be different. Empty pokeballs can be stacked now and Full pokeballs will stay in your inventory when you send out a pokemon and right clicking again on them will call that pokemon back
