I was creating an NPC trader to naturally spawn rarely... I set its weighted spawn chance to 5% on any biome. In hindsight it should've been lower, but that shouldn't have caused OVER 1000 OF THEM TO SPAWN INSTANTLY around me.
They aren't set to naturally despawn either. What do I do? Please help...
Also what did I do wrong?
Using version 1.7.10c
I'm trying to set up a modpack for minecraft 1.7.2 right now, and I've finally gotten to the stage where I can put content mods in, but suddenly modloader has started insisting on automatically installing forge multipart for 1.7.10 - which stops the game from loading at all because it's the wrong version. How the hell do I get modloader to stop doing this? I have the correct jar for multipart, but slapping it in on top causes the game to crash before it opens, and having it in beforehand simply gets it overwritten.

Why should we include you? I've been looking for a good RPG server, and this looks the best so far. I am a mature and, for the most part, agreeable player.
I have been working for about 3 hours now on a pvp map for a server I was setting up. In testing one of my traps, I died (fell into the void) and I can't tell if it changed my spawn, completely regenerated the land, or deleted everything I made.
I know it was at my spawn point because I started building as soon as I generated the world.
I tried closing the game without saving, but I was in the same damn spot.
I tried using the file backup (renaming .dat_old to .dat) with no results.
Any ideas at all go...
I saw there is a command for disable explosions for creeper. Unless it is what the command does, is there a way you could disable the damage to blocks of the creeper's explosion, so creepers explode and can kill me but cannot destroy the environment? I don't mind them to blow my house up, but I don't want them to blow the landscape.
Yup, I already know that.
PS: I'm male :3
It doesn't crash to me.
I have:
Modloader
TMI
Rei's Minimap
SPCommands
I have modloadermp, modloader, tmi, spc, player api and smart moving. adding audiomod, and removing tmi for the time being.
It appears to be conflicting with Too Many Items now, a problem I haven't had before. Whenever I open my friggin inventory it stops the game and say "saving chunks".
Minecraft Dynamic Height mod. It allows you to change the max height for your world. I have generated a map with said mod that has a hieght limit of 32, and its amazing. Slimes, strongholds, diamonds, abandoned mines in the middle of fields.
So basically, I tried to load this map into my server in hopes that it would set the height limit back to default and leave us with a world that's empty above the height of 32, and instead it threw this error:
2011-12-18 12:33:52 [INFO] Preparing start region for level 0
2011-12-18 12:33:52 [SEVERE] Unexpected exception

I then tried NBTEdit to see if I could maybe cheat it into working. I honestly didn't expect the world to be a problem at all if it was pre-generated. Any ideas?

Please don't post "You're an idiot". or such. I know it was stupid.
So, I was playing the server I'm an admin on, when we all thought it would be funny to spawn fifty thousand plus mushrooms in the sky, which all fell and increased lag exponentially until the server crashed.
I have been letting it sit with 3 gigs of ram to let the dropped items die (takes them 5 minutes to expire, right?) and I've even copied it to single player to idle on and see if it starts working better. Looking at it right now, I have, no joke, about 1 Frame Per Minute, and it doesn't seem to be getting any better.
Any ideas what I should do? This map is pretty important, and I'd like some pointers on how to fix the map - other than deleting it.
