    I think you mean coincidentally.

Pi I know It is 3.142...

(While going through posts I missed while sleeping) Actually, it's 3.14159265...all I ever bothered to memorize xD. Never use the actual number in Calculus, so you really never need to know it...unless it's Pi Day...;) haha. But yes, I like the post count you had too. Make sure you keep that as your photo when you get to 3,141 posts >:)

ok no offense ment to the creator but THIS THING SUCKS all of my MC clients lag 3x more than they used to using it normally OR with Minecraft Profile Manager which is ALSO MUCH easier to use and MUCH more simplistic it may be windows only BUT in runs much faster with less problems with MultiMC i get 15 FPS with my current profile manager i get 45 FPS and i dont really trust that this thing is safe how do i know if you can get my Minecraft username and password i dont so i will NEVER try this AGAIN thnx for ur time :)

thank you Sir :) That is definitly enough answer for me for considering another way (for emc) on my next ftb map *ehrm* ^^

But I really struggle with calling an state-of-the-art blaze-rod-macerator, (scaled down (compact),overflow-valved/BC gated and interfaced to my lava power generation system) cheating, even if I know it is, cause it has some hours of thinking in it which cheats usualy don't have. But I know you're technically and honestly right.

    greets

    EMC Generation tips

Nice, may I ask the ways you did your EMC generation? For me I had a dark room that was a 12 by 12 area with a lot of transposers and four deployers. Then I did a milk farm for six cows, each with four deployers attached to them. Oddly enough, the dark room actually is running at the same speed as each milk farm ._. And just to tell you if you go the dark room route for extra EMC, make sure you add a one tic delay to all the transposers (I did this by separating the redwire tubes with a normal pneumatic tube, to ensure I could do it easily) so they pic up everything that gets dropped. Otherwise you may lag drastically. And when doing EMC, when you're at the point when it's really one of the last few challenges you need, make a Klein star charger (Kind of like how people make passive EMC collectors with a condenser in the middle, but replace that with another collector and place the klein star in that collector, leaving the bottom open) and just use all the energy you get to make 32 pedistals and 32 Watch of Flow times. This will increase passive EMC generation by about 10x making it very worth while. Hope this helps :)

Random rant on what I've accomplished myself

As for me, I decided to mess with the challenges...I made it so my "things that go Boom" challenge needed 64 of everything (Excluding the EE power item which i forget the name of) and Reactors are so terrible to make in groups of 64...
I also made it so I needed a gravitron suit instead of the random Near Depleted Uranium Cell in Power Ranger, making it so everything had to be fully charged too. That actually wasn't that difficult, even though you need close to 16 Iridium Plates (7 stacks of UU matter) to make everything for them, so that's really difficult xD. Then one of the last things I changed was to make 64 of all the red power requirements that required 8 to begin with, and all the ones that only needed one to need eight. That was hard too to get all the bundled cabling xD. So much EMC usage. Now the last few challenges I need are the buildcraft one (Just need the Chassis mk 5 and the set of 64 things that require diamond gears/ chipsets from Log. Pipes), power (which I'm running two HV solar arrays, so 164 million EU should take only about two hours) and the Fires of Hell challenge. And I'm only 28 hours in >:) Funnily enough though, if I didn't need all the EMC for the extra challenges I'd implemented, I think power would be the only thing I'd be waiting for now. :)

^I condensed my post like this to save a LOT of space on the page. You're welcome in advance for people who complain about long posts ;)

    Another question.

I haven't been able to find the passage in the FTB rules dealing with macerating blaze rods as exploiting.

For example, people on youtube telling you, you are exploiting a game mechanic and therefore that is violating FTB rules.

Where to find the corresponding rule?

    greets.

    P.S:
I am concerned with the declaration of macerating an item which gets you a few items which have a higher EMC total then the first one as 'exploiting', but I really do not want to discuss this unless there really is a rule against it.
Mainly because you are not using an intended feature in an unintended way. Macerating works as it should, and the emc value was set by decision. It could have been changed easily that x blaze powder equal 1 blaze rod in EMC, but it wasn't.

TECHNICALLY it isn't cheating because it isn't stated on the rules in the map, as is no real other exploitable EMC bug like cloning stone slabs. But in slowpoke terms, he said he himself considers it cheating with the maceration. I believe he said that in one of Direwolf SMP Lets Plays for Season 2.

I just thought of something pure evil for Power Ranger...instead of the lame "Near depleted Uranium Cell" Slowpoke should be evil and make it a Gravitron Suit from the IC2 Addon...costs so much UU matter and is EPIC.

Hey, one quick question. As you may know, the modpack includes Forestry. Now, it's a pretty old version and I want to update it. But it's named the "Feed the Beast" - Edition. Is there anything special about it that I would break if I updated? Or can I just update to the newest version? Neither the changelog nor the readme provide any information about this. :U

I Believe (Because I did it xD) You can update it (and forge since this is an old version of forge) and set the config file to FTB mode for bee breeding :)
Something I noticed though is that the No Gen mod doesn't like the new forge or something...had to delete it ._. other wise it crashed when I loaded the world

Even though you didn't put up the crash report...Take out Optifine C6 and replace it with C3 or C2.
