This is just a follow up to my 'Diamonds' thread. I was just gonna keep editing it as i got questions about ores but i found out you cant change thread names... I have had minecraft for about 2 years now but i still not the best survival player. So the way i am gonna do this is i am going to have different sections for the different ores and i am gonna edit and add more ore questions under the different sections. Also, one last thing, if you are gonna reply to my questions, please put the name of the ore and the question number. It'll be less confusing.
Redstone:
1. I have been playing survival more and more but i always find redstone when i don't need it. I have been wondering the spawn rate for redstone but thought i would sound like a noob on servers so i will ask here. What is the spawn rate for redstone???
2. I was also wondering if redstone could spawn in 4 or 8 because when i find redstone it is usually either 4 ores or 8 ores never 7,6,5,3,2, or 1 ore. Is this just my luck or is it only the 2 spawn sizes?

I know that lapis is mostly only used for enchanting, but i was wondering if there was any other use. Like, it would probably go good in building, but i just want to know if it only good for enchanting and building

I was just playing in my survival world with my sister and i went mining. i found 12 diamonds. I was pretty sure they can spawn in a max of 10 so i was wondering if i was wrong of if it was 2 veins next to each other. Thanks for looking at my thread (if anyone sees this...)
