it has no issues running except when i try to join
i try localhost and i cannot connect and i have also tried going to https://ipchicken.com to get my ip and ill use that to try to join, but i still cannot join.
can anybody help me and tell me what i have done wrong.
Well it looks like ill have to give up until it's possible to create name claims, thanks for replying with the info :).
(account name was taken before me but yes i do technically own the trademark for the name)
back in 2015 a user stole my username Luxxy, they still have it and i have no way to contact the user to get the name that i own, is there any way to contact the user? i dont know if the user is aware that he/she stole my username but i would like to contact the user to notify them that the username is mine, i have not found anyway to contact them. is there anyway contact them? (my account wasn't stolen it was just the name that was stolen), i don't think the user plays minecraft anymore so my username is just sitting in a inactive account, i have found the logs for the servers that the account has played on and the account hasn't been used since 17.09.2017 00:20 https://minecraft-statistic.net/en/player/Luxxy.html

btw this is a custom name I Made for myself when i was a kid and i have privately used the name all my life so its my own Personal online identity so nobody else has the same name as me, i never told anybody my name except from some of my closest friends and my ex-fiancée, it's nearly impossible for somebody to make the same name as me but i guess some people created the same name as me (when i made the name i did a background check and made shure nobody else had it), so this is more of a very personal username to me and i now use that name more than my real name in everyday life (even my ex-fiancée called me Luxxy irl) (i made the the username knowing it wasn't a real word and was a custom made word made by me so it was nearly impossible for somebody to steal my username because they would have to create the exact same word/username that 65780 other combinations for name would have to be tried in order to even find my username)
this name means so much to me because of how personal it is,
so please tell me of any methods there may be to contact the inactive user or any mothered to obtain my username back

yeah, i went back and got past the adverts this time i completed the tutorial and installed the port checker and its still not working
router make: BT
router model: Smart Hub
router full name: BT Smart Hub
(and yes i have opened my firewall to the 25565 tcp and udp and portforwarded the 25565 ports on my computer for tcp and udp)
