Shame it can not be used but if you hack mobs eggs, you can spawn TNT. lso if you can change the properties of TNT with a bit of modding, it acts like its old self.c
Althogh I admire this, It is NOT legit, you say you started the mining in early beta? Well sorry but in 'Early Beta' they didn't have end portals to get that endstone you have on the floor of your enchanting room, nor did they have strongholds anyway. And they certainly didn't hack into everyone's save files just to put an end portal in your underground base or whatever. I do love the construction work though :biggrin.gif: (even if not legit)
... If you like at the screenes, you see it is RC2 which is like the prerealse before 10.00. Think a bit.
A problem with your mod idea that I see is that there is several mods that add aluminum already.
They may have that Ore, but do they have aluminum potion bottles or fishing rods? Oh also a few more ideas i want throw out.
Mercury
Ah, Mercury, quicksilver as some people call it. Unlike most ores, it is not an ore, it is a liquid. To harvest it you need to put it into a bucket. In its liquid form, it flows but slowly like magma and items will stay still. To make it usable, you need to put it into a Industrial Furnace. Once that's done, you have one Mercury bar. Mercury can not be made into tools but, it has more useful uses. It can be used to upgrade negative potions [A poison potion for example] to an upgraded tier 3 state. Another way is to put a bow on a crafting table, make the top and bottom mercury and the sides iron and the rest Redstone and then you get a Railgun. The Railgun is an upgraded bow. It can charge shoots much faster then a normal bow. It also can use Iron Bolts. To make an iron bolt is very simple. You just put 1 iron in the bottom and middle, and then add a flint arrow head to make four Iron Bolts. Iron Bolts when shoot out of the Railgun do about 50% more damage then a normal arrow. Mercury bars can be also used to repair flint and steel with out an eventual flint and steel for 20 repair points.
Ion Furnace
The 2nd best furnace in this mod. It uses the power of the Ion to smelt and extremely efficient speeds. To make it you must put 1 Glowstone block on the top and bottom, 1 aluminium bar in the diagonals, and mercury in the rest of the slots. Then you get an Ion Furnace. This thing smelts items 75% faster then a normal furnace, uses 50% less coal, and produces 1.5x of what you are smelting. {that means if I have 2 Iron ore and i smelt it, i would get 3 iron bars}.
I have a nice idea for a mod, sadly I do not know how to texture or to mod at all and I would love if someone would make a mod out of my idea. For my idea, it is a technology mod with some new ores in it, I do have some base items that i would gladly explain a bit, but I would really love a modder to use this idea.
Blocks and Ores
Electron Furnace
The first block and the stepping stone to us things in this idea, this furniture requires one furnace in the middle, 1 red stone on the top, bottom and sides and iron in the rest of the spaces, when made, you get the Electron Furnace. Not only it can smelt items 20% and use 10% less coal, it can also be powered by Redstone like coal. Redstone in this furnace is equal to coal in a normal furnace.
Bauxite Ore
The first new Ore you will encounter. Bauxite ore has about the same rarity as iron does and it found at about the same areas. You need an Iron pickaxe to mine it first however. Once you mine it, it will drop 1-4 Bauxite dust. When you put four dust together you get Unprocessed Bauxite. Now you need to put into a Electron Furnace or better. When the Unprocessed Bauxite, is smeleted, you will get one Aluminum Bar.
Industrial Furnace
The next tier of furnaces. While an Electron Furnace can smelt all ores to, the Industrial Furnace is faster and more efficient. To craft it, you need one Electron Furnace surrounded by eight Aluminum Bars. This will grant you one Industrial Furnace. The Industrial furnace smelts items 40% faster, uses 25% less coal per smelt and can use Glowstone dust as fuel now. Glowstone dust used in this furnace smelts 20% faster compared to 40% normally but, it has a 10& per each smelt to grant two bars per ore instead of one.
Crafted Tools
Aluminum Tools
Aluminum tools crafted from Aluminum bars are better. They have around 100% more durability then iron. This means it can mine blocks it should mine, or cut around 500 times, {To be exact it is 502 times}. With them you can also make the Industrial Furnace. Other items you can make is the Aluminum Fishing Rod, Enlarged Potion Bottle and other things. The Aluminum Fishing Rod is special as it has 100 durability instead of the 33 a normal fishing rod has. It also has a higher {15-20%} chance of catching a fish. To craft it you need a normal fishing rod, place it in the middle, and put three Aluminum bars on the right side for one per each slot. The other object it the Enlarged Potion Bottle. To make it you put aluminum bars in the same way you would put glass in. This makes a potion bottle that can hold up to 3 doses of potion. Sadly it can not be made into a splash potion anymore.
That was just a little part of my idea for a mod, if you could help me, we could think of more in the end. So please, help!
Just read the interview, it was really interesting. Make Canopy Carnage II/2.0, now.
I love making stupid theories about videogame chronologies, and these maps are not an exception. BTW, some of the maps can be connected to others (Sea of Flames and Legendary) or have some backstory (Spellbound Caves).
I personally think spellbound caves aw a former super magic school. Then the creepers came. Same for kazio instead kazio was a mine, and then came silverfish.
I'm still learning this new version of the generator but that is definitely an option, each biome having different BBoBjects.
I typically only use one or 2 biomes in each map because I hate how minecraft loves to put a swamp right next to a desert and then a pine forest on the other side.
I can however restrict any biome from spawning if I wish and also add new biomes of my own design, like the rainforest biome in this new map.
I'll be doing more experiments with them later.
I'm sure you didn't mean to say it that way, but to avoid confusion:
I WILL update most of my old maps, but I havn't updated anything yet.
What I meant was that your going to fix all the amps and make new ones. Also could possibly make all the files for the updates one,((other then the first one)) only zip files? Because zip would be easier for me and everyone.
Why thank you. This is the first time someone told me they liked what I made here. Also not in the pics would be an enchantment area and the nether port. Very nice house.
I would love to help you people. DO you have a server up or it is still talk? Also their has to be an Epic underground city that has been abadonded. Everything needs those.
