    I have an opportunity for anyone wanting to piggy back on my vbulletin 4 cms. If you have a server and need forums, I can offer you control over a forum on www.minecraftaddicts.com with sub-sections. It will be a different theme then our site and you can have your own custom banner. You can also have a sub-domain yourserver.minecraftaddicts.com to go with it.

    Let me know if you'd like a forum and we'll work together to get you setup. The web server is seperate from my game server and it's reliably hosted at mediatemple.

    We're interested in using Portals when the option is available. This could be a start to connect worlds together.

    I edited the index.html to "hide" signs if a player wants their sign hidden from the generated map. Keep those players happy!

    posted a message on Minecraft Overviewer - Hide Signs
    I'm not sure if it's out there already, but from the requests on my server it's clear they want an option to hide their sign on the google map minecraft overviewer.

    Any sign containing "hide" will be ignored when the map is displayed.

    You just need to edit a couple conditions in 1 file. This is the output index.html file minecraft overviewer creates.

    Find in index.html:
     if (item.type == 'sign') { iconURL = 'signpost_icon.png'; }

          	var converted = fromWorldToLatLng(item.x, item.y, item.z);
           	var marker = new google.maps.Marker({
            	position: converted,
            	map: map,
            	title: item.msg,
            	icon: iconURL
            });

           if (item.type == 'sign') { prepareSignMarker(marker, item); }

    Replace with:
    	var signText = item.msg.replace(/\n/g);
          if (item.type == 'sign' && signText.match("hide")) {
    		return false;
    	}
    	else {
    		iconURL = 'signpost_icon.png';
          	var converted = fromWorldToLatLng(item.x, item.y, item.z);
           	var marker = new google.maps.Marker({
            	position: converted,
            	map: map,
            	title: item.msg,
            	icon: iconURL
            }); }

           if (item.type == 'sign' && signText.match("hide")) {
    		return false;
    	 }
    	 else {
               prepareSignMarker(marker, item);
           }

    You extend the condition to include the marker and use String.Match to search for "hide".

    I hope someone finds this helpful like it has been for me :smile.gif:

    Have I mentioned how AWESOME our community is? Check it out at http://www.minecraftaddicts.com. We're still a somewhat small group of people, 20+, so now's your change to get involved right from the beginning. This server will be running for many years to come.

    Updated to 0.2.5_02. Invisibility is fixed, but there are still common bugs being reported. Getting there!

    The [better] way to fix those accounts is to install NBTedit, open the player file and change health to a value over 0. I noticed when these accounts bug, health is usually LESS than 0 (mine was -4).

    After editing the player file save it, upload it, and test. I was able to take damage and pick up blocks after this.

    I strongly advise renaming the orig player file before you upload the fixed one.

    This did not work for me. Using NBTedit opening the player, i can see the negative value, I set it to positive and below 20, the player is still invisible. I'm still using the delete .dat file, not sure where I'm going wrong.
