why do you think modding is illegal? It's perfectly legal, at least in the way it's done on this forum.

Mods make Mojang's work on adding new features to Minecraft completely pointless.

Glowstone allows mob spawning still, and no, the look is equivalent to comparing glowstone to an reddish-orange-purplish sea lantern with magma-ish texture. As aesthetically and functionally different as yellow concrete vs redstone block.

This block is pointless. Also what gave you the idea of a serious name? Minecraft is not made to be serious or realistic.

Mods are not very easy to install or run compatibly with vanilla servers

    So I don't use them

Tbh terracotta is good, just turn down your monitor brightness.

But the one major flaw of Minecraft is no option to disable combat cooldowns. I personally like 1.9 combat but many others don't so they should let you toggle it.

Minecraft Education Edition is taking the game and squishing it into a school tool. This is never what Minecraft was meant to be. Mojang, I hate you. Why are you adding cool stuff like NPCs into a school edition of Minecraft? Why do we have to illegally mod our game with CustomNPCs for that? Why can't that be in vanilla? Also, stuff like the border block. That NEEDS to be in Minecraft. Mojang is destroying their own precious game that sold millions of copies.

    Dead bush drops sticks.

Why does everybody keep calling dead bush useless? Is every person a 1.8 old timer?

I feel like it's a child's dream. His life sucks, has no friends, not allowed to do anything he wants, bored and annoyed with life, and just wants to escape into his own world. So the child dreams of a perfect place where he can do whatever he wants. Create the perfect wonderland, destroy monsters trying to hurt him, experiment with magic, and even try to enter different dimensions.

    Pretty good theory!

In the secret alpha where dirt was very rare dirt had value. Dirt could be traded for 400 USD. Notch decided dirt was very valuable and wanted to mass produce this item. Eventually inflation caught dirt and dirt is now worth nothing. There was so much dirt that people began building houses, filling floors and even started coding compressed dirt so dirt didn't take up so much space in chests. Although due to the fact that there was so much stone stone is the most worthless block. For the most useless is air.

    Quote from Aura_Fox»

First of all, I would advise you be a bit more specific in this post. What exactly do the end and workbench backpacks do? How do you craft each of these different backpacks? I understand that these are items from a mod, but don't just assume everyone is automatically familiar with this mod.

Secondly, the Ender Chest already does this. You can carry an Ender chest with you, place it, put stuff inside, and then break it and take it with you to have access to those items later. Doesn't it seem a little broken to be able to craft an item with what I assume to be just three leather that does the same thing as an item that takes 8 obsidian and an eye of ender? On top of this, being able to carry backpacks with you massively expands your inventory. It doesn't seem like there's anything stopping you from having, say, 28 large backpacks in your inventory.

If you were getting prepared to visit the End with the intent of searching for loot, you probably would have left a large portion of your inventory empty and just brought the bare essentials (weapons, tools, food, potions, etc.) I can't imagine a situation where you would run into the problem of having a full inventory except maybe when mining. And even then, you're not gonna be missing out on much if you just drop a couple stacks of cobblestone.

Beyond this, Leather has quite a lot of use in the game as it is. Not only is it used for early game armor, it is used to make books which are very useful for getting multiple enchantments onto one item.

    No support

But you need a Silk Touch pickaxe to do that, and backpacks could be an easier way of doing the same thing.
