Hi there, so I recently got the new minecraft launcher a few weeks ago, and i've so far only been able to play a couple of times. Technically, i could have played all I wanted, but the thing is, I can't stand not having sound: It's just too useful.
So here's the problem, I startup Minecraft via the launcher, and 90% of the time, it switches to silent mode. The other 10% it opens up just fine, and everything's fine and dandy. Here's the thingy, if it helps.

1. I've technically played since late alpha, but had this account since early beta. 2. The sense of adventure. It's always the same game, but the randomness of it all keeps it refreshing. 3. Spelunking predominantly 4. 15 5. No, my headset is defuncitated. Using a micro-phoneless set. 6. Depends, but usually I'd play for about an hour a day, so 7? 7. Of course I have. Who hasn't? Servers have different rules and different admins. 8. I don't care to boast. 9. MrAsymo
Heya. I've recently gotten back into minecraft, but the main thing I've disliked was the loneliness. My old server I used to frequent has since been shut down, which was why I quit about a year ago. Now, I want to build, explore, and do other mine-crafty things with others.
Requirements:
- Vanilla or next-to-vanilla server. (Sorry, I don't like strawberry servers. They leave a bad taste in my mouth.)
- 4 to 12 people
- Legitimate block-procuring methods only.
What I can give to you
- A veteran crafter
- My charm and good looks
- Bad puns (Or good ones, depending on your taste)
Not exactly sure of what you're talking about, but isnt that the thing with the nether mushrooms and weird trees? No. This is a sort of tier that rivals diamond. Just not in raw power. For justice.
So heres the plan: We all are disappoint. At the nether, specifically. So lets suppose some crazy bored modder decides to fix this. This hypothetical modder will create a mod which includes 3 (Perhaps 4, if one wants a crazy overpowered weapon) new sets of tools. These tools will contain certain "Magical" Frankenstein effects brought in to the world, one for each of the blocks of the nether. The tools would be described as below.
Netherrack tools:
Generrally the same stats as iron, but has a little less durability. The twist? It has a medium chance of lighting the target block/mob ON FIRE. Goodbye flint and steel, see ya in hell. Hypothetically of course. naturally, this would be bad for cutting trees, but good for deconstructing that ugly wooden structure ablaze. Just like Flint and Steel! Stone doesnt catch fire very well, so pickaxes are silly to use.
Soul tools:
Slower than iron tools, but has a chance to toxify mobs, slowing/stunning them, or in the case of blocks, "Corrupting" the area around them, darkening the textures. Corrupting blocks lowers hardness of blocks, and if applied 3 times, causes the affected blocks to break entirely, with no drops. The corruption process would basically be used as a softener for other blocks, to make them break smoother, or clear out dirt. For example, say this ferocious death creeper creeped just below a desert, and I want to remove the sand blocking my path, I could switch on over to my soul shovel, and Dig around like I had TNT. Not ideal for diamond mines.
Glowsteel tools:
They glow. IN YOUR HAND. Hello, not-crapping-myself-in-a-giant-dark-cave! However, they're just a little weaker than Netherrack tools.
These tools could be crafted like a boss, by combining a tool surrounded by 4 of your target material in each corner. On a workbench, of course. For balance issues, lets just pretend that nether materials decompose carbon, and therefore diamond nether tools are out of the question.
A truly dedicated mad scientist would fashion together some nether-based armor upgrades too, and a CRIMINALLY INSANE person would create an obsidian-lined diamond tier as well. Hypothetically, of course.
Have a hypothetically nice day!
Oh dear, an wild aPunch has appeared on your server?! This is terrible! An aPunch attacked my server too, you should probably close down your server, as it might spread into your computer! aPunches are actually malicious software programs designed to generally screw you over by stealing your passwords and credit card information. Evil scientists are responsible for aPunches, and they ussually implant them into server mods.

Also, Granted but its health level is at -1, and is forever dead, but never despawns.
