posted a message on Double Piston

    Dear Community,

I made a thread in the MCPS3 section, because I only play this game on PS3 at the moment. It would be great if some of you redstone experts could help me out with my double piston problem. Just go to this thread.

I only create this thread to get the redstone experts from PC to have a look into this PS3 thread, because i think it's not related to Console or Computer.

    Thank you

It depends on how compact this has to be and how automated it should be. To stop a cart you just need one or two booster rails which are powered off. When it comes onti it, it stops. This would be one way

But it can be more complex and more automated. With pistons etc. Can't find a video but I alway use it with pistons.

The idea is great. And compact. But still it's to big for me. I would never place this as my street lights. I just use a Redstonelamp with an inverted Daylightsensor on top of it. So my lamp just needs 1x1.5 blocks.

A closer look or a video of it would be great. All I see is just a huge arch.

So you consider yourself as one of the better builder on the console. Well okay, I don't know how you can be good in a game which helps you to express your creativity. It just needs patience. But anyway. The Notre Dame (Or what it should be) and the Colosseum look okay. But it's not impressive. Everything is to small. For Example: The "Doors" on your Colosseum are about 6 blocks high. That means you can stack 3 people on each other. But if you take a look at it in real like you can stack up to 5 human beings. So over all your work is surely good. But I'm nothing near to overwhelmed.

Great idea. Creating a world where you show people the usage of redstone is just genious. I would love to take a look at your world and learn from your experience. I personally love to play around with redstone. The only thing I can't get to work is a 3x3 or 4x4 door. Would be great if you could show me how to do it. My problem is the double piston which should move two blocks.

    Hey Community,

For a bigger project I would love to have a 3x3 or 4x4 door. But everything I try does not work. The Problem is the Double Piston which should place and retract two blocks. It would be great if someone could show me how to do it, or post a picture here. Just send me a PM or post your PSN here.

    Thanks alot

posted a message on Double Piston

    Dear Community,

At the moment I'm trying to get a 3x3 door running. The only problem I have is the double piston extender. To create a double piston extender is easy, and getting it to push one block forward and backward is also no problem. But I want it to place a block. Like this:

    []|[]|B

    []-|[]-|B

    []|[]| B

    []| = Piston

    B = Block

I know that it is possible, there are several videos showing the 3x3 or 4x4 door with a mechanism like this. But no matter how many times I try it, it won't work.

    Thank you

Is there anyone who could help me and explain this?
