By the Nine, please remove the "Removed Herobrine". Not all people are smart enough for this.
On topic, this looks interesting.

I statistically have no chance of winning, but still I will uphold social etiquette and say to everyone that I truly believe that I could win

I've had the same problem as you, and I still kind of have it. What I did to improve my singleplayer experience was to always play on the same world, even if I feel unmotivated. Whenever I feel like quitting the map, I just go gather some resources, build a small house or something like that even though I don't feel like it at the time. It's amazing how fast the time suddenly went, and you do feel a little motivated again. Maybe you'd start on a new project you enjoy?
Though, sometimes you just cannot force yourself to play on the same world ever day. It's just too boring. If that ever happenes, I suggest just leaving Minecraft for a week or two, then coming back to it. There's no point in just making a new world, it will just make you more tired of it. Trust me, it will help you.

I still see no reason whatsoever to actually remove wooden tools. It cannot be that much of a problem for you, seriously.

Removing wooden tools would make everyone pissed, and it's pointless. They may suck, but I still cherish those tools.
What would happen next? Would you complain about the stone tools because they suck too much?
You know what, why don't we just start with diamond tools? It's much easier.

Minecraft doesn't need it.

I suggest using MCEdit while you wait for WorldEdit to be updated. It might not make the map perfect, but at least it will help you.

Though I would suggest making the area bigger. From what I can tell by the pictures, it's not very big. Unless you have a good back-up plan on what to do when the place is full, you will probably regret having such a small place when building the houses (I'm assuming that you will have houses in there. Correct?).
Other than that, it looks good so far.

Did you just make that? That's damn nice.
Though, the forest and earth altars would be better if you made the rest of the block yourself, aswell. You know, not having the original wood on the back of the carving. Except from that, nice work.

I have nothing against regular suggestions, but just leave any stories/lore alone. They're pointless.
Also, keep in mind that the Witherking isn't near finished, so suggestions about him may be a little bit early. The last point, about the castle, was actually pretty good.

I don't get it. I thought you were supposed to answer Prince_Deity's question, but you clearly didn't.
