Woah, are we playing what's my temperature?

Right now, in Italy, I've been dealing with 300K (37C), but luckly today is much more cooler, we are only around 30C...nothing that a fan can't solve :D

Fancy pantsy scientific temperature in Kelvin? I approve.

We roughly have the same temperature in Austria, too :/

Hm... I'm toying around with an idea for a RFW map. Most RFW maps you see are very bow-centric - what about a map with melee elements? Basically, the setup would be in a circle, or maybe a bit of a bulb-shape: you start at a bottleneck (on seperate lanes, then go around the circle in opposite directions to meet up at the end), and on the other side of the circle the lanes would merge together and go inwards, towards another circle. In the very center would be the VM, so that each wool has to be carried through all the dangerous melee zones - so stealing the wool is an option and protecting it is a very high priority.

Of course you wouldn't be allowed to go into the opponent's lane, they'd be color-coded.

    Thoughts?

EDIT: If that's too confusing, I'll whip up a sketch tomorrow.

EDITEDIT: I did the sketch now. Woo procrastination!

Hey Molly. Did you ever wonder how the original skyblock map got famous?
I think it was just luck.

It is always just luck. (Except for Vechz, he deserved it!)

if you can tell me i will.

Good job! To put images, you'll have to upload them to a seperate service, such as imgur or photobucket, then copy the image URL and insert it in the box provided when you click "insert image".

    BedBlock Challenge
    by molybdenum42

    Inspired by Noobcrew's SkyBlock.
(Credit for idea given to him. I made this map from scratch, however.)

You spawn on a small chunk of mass, in the middle of nowhere - and no name could be more fitting.

Oh darn it, it is raining. You look to your right - Nice, a tree! That'll be helpful. Time to practice your karate skills and chop that sucker down. Hey, a chest? Omnomnom, a cookie! Hm, a bucket as well.

    Wait, what was that?...

    Oh great, I hate spiders.

This is a hard map. You have very, very limited resources and blocks, and have to think around the corner to succeed. Recommended only for Survival Veterans.

    V. Beta 1.2 out now! Added 1 hole in Bedrock, removed extra tree.
    UPDATED CHALLENGES!

    You have:
    • 1 bucket of water
    • 1 cookie
    • 1 trees

    Challenges:

    1. Make a Cobblestone Generator
    2. Enter the Nether
    3. make an infinite water source
    4. make a all kinds of farms
    5. leave no bedrock visible on the outside
    6. make an obsidian shelter
    7. make a wooden shelter
    8. make a pumpkin shelter (yup, I'm serious)
    9. Reach heights y=1 and y=127 (while still being alive a considerable time later :tongue.gif:)
    10. collect a full stack of birch logs
    11. make 5 TNT
    12. collect 3 ghast tears (1.9+ only)
    13. make gold armor (1.9+ only)
    14. make a spider grinder (Not sure if possible, feedback?)
    15. make an impressive structure in either the nether or the overworld. Post a picture!

    RULES:
    • I can't keep you from cheating (flying, tmi etc), but it will be more fun if you don't. The difficulty falls in this category, recommended is Easy+.
    • Don't enter natural terrain
    • Don't kill yourself on purpose (food and such)

    episode 7!
Also, did you use MCedit to make this map?

I used WorldPainter for the empty map, then MCedit to make it bigger, then to make the island. Finally, SPC and TMI for the fine tuning.
