    Hey, first of all, you posted in the wrong section, from now on please go to the Support section, second of all, chisel seems to be your issue, just remove it and it should work fine provided you don't get another crash.

    - I have been playing modded sense 2015, developing sense 2018 (Credits for Illager Guards and Kathairis). I've been in several SMPs before this one and was often the most active player on the server. I've owned and helped develop SMP servers before but I'm more out of that department due to my lack of time.

    How long have you played MC? Since early 2013, managing and working servers in various roles since 2014, and deving since 2015

    Experience: I am natively a developer specializing in Spigot and Cauldron/Sponge and web development with CSS and HTML but that doesn't mean I cannot do other jobs. Being a developer and owner of many servers within the past near decade, I am fit for any position in almost any situation you can put me in. If a helper, I can always extend a hand to anyone that needs one. if a mod, I will always be driving the community forward and judging hackers and other likewise offenders to a fair, public, and speedy trial for events where insufficient proof is not supplied. If an admin, cooperate with the other server members and staff to make a great product even better and keep our community as our number one priority, if a developer do anything in my power to meet and even overbear the expectations put forward to me by fellow staff and players, rather that be on the server or creating a public image and reputation for the server to not only say, but to uphold the things we claim on top of all of the other responsibilities.

    Why should you be a part of this team compared to others? As stated above, I have a wealth of experience and surplus of loyalty. I believe that although this may only be a vanilla server, it is not only the game play that drives a successful server, but a thriving, fair, and clean community. I believe many others do not have these qualities.

    What is an important value for someone to have? I believe that justice and loyalty are the most need qualities for a candidate to work any position for a server.

    Why should I choose you to become our new dev: TL:DR I am fit because of my experience, my ability to thrive in a team and develop a community, and i can help with the discord server as well as Minecraft. If you want to read the paragraph I have written, here it is.



    I believe I am perfect for a developer position for a plethora of reasons. First I am a veteran of the game, I have been playing since 2013 on PC and working as staff and owner on at least 12 servers since ~2015 (Mostly spigot and cauldron servers), but experience is the next question so I will elaborate more on that question. Second, I am good with team work (as long as the other party holds up their end) and I love to help develop not only the experience which people play on, but also the community around it! In turn, I'm a dev that likes to interact with the community and further develop the server in the way the community is in favor of (of course getting consent from the server owner(s) first). Third, I not only develop plugins for minecraft, I am also a discord server admin so I am capable of doing some advance tasks in discord servers.



    Do you have any experience in config developing: A metric ton, I can develop any config that has good documentation if I am unfamiliar with it and I am very hasty with plugins I am familiar with the plugin.


    Do you have any experience in Java development: Yes, but I usually charge people on a lease if they want me to create a plugin and use it, but hear me out. I only charge because it is a time consuming task and I legally have all rights to the plugin if I made it, so to use it in fair grounds I have a contract that will have to be signed and paid before I will allow you to use the plugin. (More on that in DMs if you choose me.)


    That being said I haven't told you what I can create for the server, which is the quintessential part of this question. I can create really anything you task me with that is possible with the base game. (So no custom models or things that can only be achieved by modding. If you don't know if an idea is plausible, please still ask me, that's why I'm working with you!) So this means anything from boss bars to essential server functions! But do remember, the more intense and time consuming it is, the bigger the price tag and longer the wait! I suggest not having all custom plugins because it is rough on both your and my end.


    Specifics:

    Do I charge for plugin configuration? No, but I do require that all premium plugins be paid by the owner.

    Do I pay for dedicated hosting? No, every expense that I encounter during developing the server that has to do with the server I make the owner pay.

    Ok that's doable, since dedicated hosting costs money but has better services and can be up 24/7, which would you like to do? Home hosting or Dedicated. Also the bigger the modpack the more the server is going to cost since it requires better specs.

    I too like the new combat system. I make adventure and RPG modpacks, so I like the unique timing and battle experience it gives to PvE battles, but you could say that it should just be a mod if I'm playing modded, which is correct.


    Personally, I like Trigonia's idea of the new gamerule, but if they want to remove the cooldown on a Bukkit/Spigot/Sponge server, just use a plugin.

    If this is 1.7.10, add FastCraft, Optifine, and Better FPS.


    If it is 1.12.2 add Optifine, Better FPS, Unloader and FPS Reducer


    They may have newer/older versions of what I just listed that I dont know about so search all of them up.

    Just remove client side mods. AKA mods like Damage Counter mods and stuff that only appears in the user's HUD (Heads up Display). Some mods like Journey map allow it to be ran on a server. Id suggest making a server on your coumputer and putting your modpack on that server and testing the server until it works.
