Yeah, there's no Minecraft folder in Application Support, period.

Okay, so I've downloaded several texture packs, but I can't find the folder in which to put them so I can switch in-game. Just to clear things up, I already know how to get the packs to work, and I'm using a Mac. Any advice? I sincerely hope that this isn't something amazingly obvious that I'm missing.

posted a message on Still stuck in Minecraft Limbo...
Okay, since the last couple of threads disappeared into the mists of the later pages, I'm going to try again.
I am running a Mac OSX 10.6. I downloaded minecraft.zip about a week ago. Recently, I tried to log on, and Minecraft started downloading an update. I do not know which update it was, but after it finished downloading, it froze at the "Done Loading!" screen. I quit and tried logging in again-still stuck at the loading screen. I tried the browser version-still no luck. I came here, heard someone say to try backing up my saves and deleting everything Minecraft-related- still nothing. I tried to get further help from there- people stopped responding in the thread.

tl;dr, Minecraft hangs at a loading screen and everything I've tried thus far has no effect on it.

    Help please?

Necro-bumping, because I'm still stuck at the Done Loading screen after following all of this advice.

I've got the same problem, and I'm running the Mac version. I've checked my Application Support files, and Minecraft is nowhere to be found in there. Any other ideas?
EDIT: The same thing happens in browser. I tried deleting all my save files, and any other Minecraft data I could find, but I still get the "Done Loading" screen.

Ah, silly me. I just noticed a thread with this exact problem. Sorry for starting a redundant thread.

^No, I already tried that two or three times.
^^No clue. When I signed in recently, a loading screen popped up instead of the normal Mojang image. The filenames went by too fast for me to identify any of them.

I run the game on a Mac, and recently downloaded an update. However, now the game hangs on a "Finished Loading" screen, and I can't get to the title screen. I've tried re-downloading the game, and I've tried it on browser, to no avail. Can I get some advice?
