Hey guys! Our project has actually been delayed for a bit due to some personal things going but we are still working on the realm. The start-up date is pushed back further than we anticipated but we are hoping to have the realm up this summer. Yes, most of the gameplay will be in Adventure mode while being outside of the town will be in Survival. Players will be able to mine and break blocks outside of town so they can gather materials. Quest locations and specific areas will be in Adventure to protect the map from being damaged.
Yes. Once we get the main part down we are going to open up the realm for players to gather feedback. We will also be adding and building new areas as players explore the land we have currently in place. This map will be constantly changing and expanding as time goes on.

-An economy with individual block values
-Buying/selling system
-Challenging and unique quests
-Main story line
-Horses with different stats for buying
-Hidden treasures
-Earning crafting/brewing/enchanting rights
-Rentable houses within the town
-Battle arena with prizes
-Constantly changing economic system with the players being able to directly influence the system
This will be up in about a month's time and we are already looking forward to adding more. Unfortunately with so much up in the air I do not want to add too many people to build since then there won't be enough spots for players and there will be too much for me to regulate at one time. Hello Mittiez, Just wanted to say that i can no longer be of use to you, I love your idea but i have been appointed as Administrator on Avilti (1.9 server) and most of my time will be taken up with sorting out some stuff with them (Building, setting up different things). So sadly i can no longer help you. I do hope you don't take it the wrong way but i really want to help them and i have already promised i will help. Hey, it can simply be done using command blocks and a bit of redstone.
I can make a modern looking bank which allows uses to save their money etc.
What i can do:
I can add a feature for players to pay another.
I can build: Shops, Banks etc.

I really need another person to help me with coming up with values for items and what types of buildings should be in place. Basically I need someone who knows a little more about Minecraft as a whole since there are a few things I still do not know. Are you still interested? I need someone who is willing to work on this with me to share ideas. I currently have one person who is working command blocks right now so I am basically just looking for someone who wants to create the vision of the realm with me.
If you are a good builder then maybe we could balance each other out and create something even better than my original idea. Everything is planned out thoroughly so nothing will be built right away. I already have quite a few buildings in place so you can get a feel for what the map will look like in the end. Everything is being built in creative mode and there is quite a lot of landscaping to be done. There is a possibility of multiple towns being built but we can discuss that at another point.
The basic idea for the map is an adventure map where you are able to buy items through a currency exchange. Houses are rented and animals/tools/food are all bought. For example: there are no crafting tables but you are able to buy the rights to craft at a certain point. I'm expecting a lot of economic growth once everything gets settled and the basic idea is for there to be a sense of community that seems to be lacking in most realms. All the details are not put together so your input in this would be awesome!
Please be able to log on a few times a week and be able to communicate with me through a voice-chat system to make things easier.
