Not a huge fan of pvp myself, but this is a good map; perhaps make a few small fringe settlements to serve as 'draw points' that make players curious and draw them into each other?

Interesting work, it reminds me of a modern outdoor concert amphitheater.

Have you seen a really good roleplay server map? They are generally of better quality and feel far more congested, if that is what you are going for.
