Given the amount of space, is difficult to show a greater amount of detail to the space limitations. You could just alter your texture pack to serve your purpose just as well.

This is actually a seemingly regular occurrence with 1.4 due to the introduction of new naturally generated structures in the world generator, could also possibly be that the generation code was altered as well.

This is expertly done, I congratulate you on your architectural skills, blueprints are not always so easy to understand. Great job!

Very interesting, but likely just a world generating error due to them adding in another naturally generating structure to the biome code (witch hut).

Start small, and go big is my suggestion. See that castle? Now make it a tower on an even greater castle below it. That's just my suggestion anyways.

This is beautiful, you have an awesome mom! I'd love to build with family like you do, but my parents don't care for this sort of thing like I do. I love the detail-work on your mansion too, but every Gothic mansion needs a full-sized swimming pool and a terrarium (greenhouse). Nice job!

Lovely project, I do have to say I like your style of building and I also do like your penchant for words like "Heptarchy" which are so rarely used by people of today. If you are looking for a good external map mod to share your world with others, I recommend Dynmap. It is what I use, and I adore it.
