I agree with Sly, an 8 would be a fair assessment; if you want an opinion... I have to ask the question, for what is this building intended to be used as? Where is the interior? As I see it, it is a shell without a purpose yet. So... Maybe fill it with something and you could score higher? I'm not sure, that is just my opinion.
It isn't a hack persay, it is just setting one's textures for stone to transparent colors. It isn't all that hard to do; as for the dungeons spawning close to each other? I suppose it is rather rare, but it would be even rarer if they were parallel and connected to each other in one room or were on top of each other.
With the militarization of Paroxia, i'm sensing an opportunity for Cadia to come knocking...
If we're talking about our own work, perhaps it is time for the Empire of Man to step in, I'm sure Agramoorian Immortals (no, they aren't literally immortal, think of Cyrus the Great's Immortals) would stir things up a bit.
Those are good ideas, I'll work in a restaurant in the western side, where there is more space and a lighthouse can sit on the island directly north of the beach. Thanks!
Most of it is WIP to be honest, but let us not hijack his thread here. But if you cannot justify your opinion, I don't see how my work is merely "okay," but you are entitled to that opinion. Thanks
I love the structure and form of the city, I have but only a meager suggestion... perhaps some sort of sea-bed terrain elevation variance? Like fissures and undersea mountains and the like?
So as I've mentioned before, I am working on my server map which I've spent countless months on; but now I have hit a wall... something I've never done before, a public city beach!
Some things to bear in mind:
It is in the city of Agramoor, a desert themed city in which wood is more expensive than stone.
The beach is on the north shore of the Agramoorian Peninsula.
The water is too deep, but i wish to preserve the current shoreline curve.
I need some suggestions on what to do/how to terraform this to make it look nice and blend with the city nicely. As well as I would appreciate any constructive criticisms and comments on anything you see.
So without further ado, the screenshots:
An overview of the city again, with the shoreline in the background (from the viewpoint atop the cathedral)
A view of the west side of the beach.
A view of the east side of the beach.
A picture of the White Sylph Senate Hall (so you guys can understand the Agramoorian style; it is a WIP)
So yes, any opinions/comments/constructive criticisms/suggestions would be very much appreciated, thanks!
Somewhere, I've got a redwood sample biome I made; give me some time and I'll post a picture of it.
Edit: Hey, I'll have to wait for multiverse to work again to get access to that biome okay? It is sadly located in my test plain, which is another world and inaccessible without multiverse. *sadpanda*
Depending on your texture pack and which option you have for stone slabs, might I suggest the use of 44:6 for the edging? It's just something that I frequently use in my texture pack because I use the "scrolled-edge, smooth dark stone half slab" option from painterly.
Ink sacks were always at least marginally useful, they functioned as a black dye for wools. But now, this book editing update has me ecstatic because I can now write custom books for my rp server. Hooray Jeb!

Mind you, this is a sampling of the fleet.

Sorry for the link to my thread, there's just far more work than I can put here practically.
