I noticed you haven't received hardly any views and no comments, might I suggest that you embed the photo onto the page so people do not have to click a link? Generally, that is why people don't comment on things, is due to it not being embedded. Try imgur or another site and use the message board code it gives you.
It is basic, but you can expand on your creations by involving other blocks in creative ways. Try using half-block, stairs, and fences in your builds too and see what you can come up with.
The owl only partially represents knowledge, it is actually representative of and is a familiar of Athena, the Goddess of Knowledge, Athenian Victory, etc, etc. As for the build, it is very lovely; but might I suggest some variation on the outer walls a bit? Just stone brick, is a tad boring; I'd include some slabs or use of even basic stone for contrast.
Don't be afraid to try larger builds, always try to do new things and don't be afraid to ask for opinions here. We are here to help, being a community after all.
My advice? Try something larger, take time to plan it, have fun with the shape, but be rational about it. Also try to include some block variety and try to build your creation with a purpose in mind, that often helps.
This isn't quite Victorian to be honest, I am seeing a ton of Neoclassical elements; in fact, many 'Victorian' houses are incorrectly named, just because they were built during that time, but are of different styles. This in many places closely resembles an Italianate style, as I have seen much of it in my home state.
But..
All that doesn't detract from the beauty of this build, it is a wonderfully well-executed work of art. Congratulations on finishing it you so-called slowpokes.
Ink sacks were always at least marginally useful, they functioned as a black dye for wools. But now, this book editing update has me ecstatic because I can now write custom books for my rp server. Hooray Jeb!

Well... it is pretty easy to expand from nothing.
