I've got action and Sony vegas 12. Both work fine. When I record my Minecraft FullScreen, the quality is great! However, I prefer to play Minecraft Small screened (not beceause of FPS, I just find it easier for me). The quality is obviously going to drop, but is there a way to prevent the quality from becoming really bad (render settings/Recordign settings)?

No, there is no way to stop the quality from going down. You're playing on a smaller area on the screen (asuming you have a 1080p monitor.) Therefore your recording at a lower resolution that is not native to youtube's window area. Imagine it like recording with a camera. Smaller the image, worse the quality. Smaller as in frame size, not file size.
More like it breaks the EULA of minecraft itself, so when (if) bukkit comes out for 1.8, you will be screwed for donations. On top of that, coding and setting up a server of this scale takes time. Maybe if you had worked on a server folder for 2 months in advance and had plugins to show for it, they would start talking about lending you a server. An Idea and a Server are 2 different things. People don't sponsor ideas without work backing it.
I bought this thing, it's coming in the mail. Was wondering what type of performance I would be expecting out of it? I play games like skyrim etc. Not just minecraft.
Has an A8 5550m clocked at 2.1 Ghz w/ 8GB of Ram and internal graphics (8550g AMD) on a 1600x900 display. If I dedicated 2 GB to the Igpu, what type of performance would you see my getting? just wondering
I've had many issues come up where that sub-forum would be VERY useful. Why was it taken out when reporting-threads does basically nothing aslong as it isn't spam. I've had many issues that I would like to address privately, but instead I ended up waiting and things happened to people that shouldn't have. Why would you remove that sub-forum? It was a great way to get forum-administration on crap that wasn't really visable.
I found this weird rendering bug. Any idea whats causing it? I was using faithful 32x32 and Opdifine HD U A4 for 1.7.10. The blocks seem to render after I hit the floor. It's weird. Wondering if this is happening to everyone? It's not like it's "everywhere". It seems to happen now and then in weird occasions. I allocated 4GB of RAM to minecraft....

I own both the 3DS and the Wii U and I say it's about time they are going to put Minecraft on the Nintendo systems! Just think how cool it would be to see this game in TRUE 3D without glasses and to be able to play it anywhere! Even the idea of a Wii U version sounds pretty cool. Just think of the options they could implement into the second screen. I don't care what anybody says, I think this is a GREAT idea and I already own this game for XBOX 360!
Half this thread is just little kids bashing on the 3DS because their parents didn't buy it for them. I like the idea of MC in 3d, but it would need to be very well implemented. I own both the 3ds XL and a WII U and I would love to see the second screen in the WII U being taken advantage of considering it's size and how easily it could be put into a game.
Would love to see this game added to the nintendo suit of games. Who give a flying duck if the game is different. The WII U gamepad makes the perfect platform for placing and editing inventory for minecraft. It has decent specs etc. As Long as 4j studios doesn't reap the game of features I think I would buy it in an instant. I don't really get why there is allot of hate here. The WII U is an excellent console. I for one am a PC gamer. But I own a 360 and a WII U. I bought the WII U recently for it's growing selection of excellent games and features such as slit screen co-op on Super Mario Bros U, Nintendo Land, Mario Kart 8, Soon to be super smash, and hopefully minecraft! The only thing bad about the WII U is the fact that developers are JUST now noticing how innovative the gamepad can be in games. Yes, it is not a 500$ console with an AMD APU, but it still has decent tech-specs compared to todays standard. Minecraft would fit like a niche in side the wii U's game pad. As far as the 3ds. Not so much. It would have to be downscalled and practically the Mobile version. I for one JUST sold my 3ds XL and I can tell you that it was crap compared to other mobile hand-helds I have owned. So, simple question. What is the best game recorder? Paid or free? I am leaning more to the free side since I don't want to pirate any software. Also, hopefully it can record any process. Such as Mozilla Firefox for browser games to MineCraft or other download games. Much appreciated for any help.

I've just ran the .jar rather than the usual .bat file and it's lasted quite some time. As previously mentioned, I have 8GB of RAM and run the server on 4 which is equivalent to 4096 MB. The .jar file says that the memory use is 242 with 1% free, which I figured is RAM. I don't know if I should add less or more. Please help.
More mods you got, the more RAM ya need. Would need to know your computer specs for further help. You can have 100 GB of ram with the worlds' crappiest CPU. Anyways, I would try to push it to 5GB and see if it plateaus on the RAM side. Other than that you could just rent a server monthly... But who knows, paying for servers is an opinion if you have a good pc.
