Tom, I am an EXTREMELY BIG, BIG, BIG fan of Minecraft 0.31. I love Dock's mobs espically, but I have a hard time running it on Fiddler, plus it doesn't save, plus no one wrote a patch for it. I'm wondering if you can write a client that takes 0.31, puts it in it's own client outside of .minecraft, and then it runs and saves worlds, with all the mobs, including Dock's Mobs (Rana, Steves!). If you want some inspiration when writing it, then chack out Openclassic. If you have any probelms running that, let me know.
IT created a folder called %APPDATA% in the folder where the installer is. There is only two files in the %APPDATA& folder, both called uns000, except one was an EXE and the other was an unknown file. Nothing else was created by the installer and put on my computer.
What's up with that?
(I messed up in my last post, sorry. It actually created a whole new %APPDATA% folder where the installer is located.)
I loaded it up, and it created a new folder called .minecraft (not the normal one!) in APPDATA, not in APPDATA/roaming where normal .minecraft is! HELP!!!!Basically, It didnt load 0.31. It loaded 1.5.1.Was the patcher supposed to replace the mc.jar?
Well, I do have a version of Indev (the latest) that doesn't require fiddler and it runs through minecraft bin easily (in the.minecraft folder) and it saves awesome. But, about Indev 0.31, I couldn't even get it running. I just turn on Fiddler, and it goes Null.pointerexception, even when I use fiddler. And I added Java to my enviroment variable, and I edited the minecraft.bat file and inserted the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java.exe" -Xmx256m -classpath .;lib\jinput.jar;lib\lwjgl.jar;lib\lwjgl_util.jar;lib\minecraft.jar -Djava.library.path=native\windows Main there and I tried it with and without quotes. Someone help me!!!! (PS: MTX, I could PM you the Indev.jar that works without fiddler. But I just want Dock's mobs!!!!!!!!!)
