Time to step in this topic again, I wonder if anyone here still remembers me.
To Yasashii: Welcome to the herd/fanbase! The rules are pretty simple: No chatting and no posting of NSFW pictures.
While I'm still here, I'll throw out some food for thought.
Topic 1: Do you believe in or abide by 'Love and Tolerate'? Why or why not? In what situations do you apply it to? Do you apply it when it concerns games, movies or even another show?
Topic 2: Which episodes' morals do you dislike and why? (You don't have to dislike the episode to dislike the morals.)
Topic 3: In the situations where the Main Six encounter a villain, what changes in the story could lead to them ultimately losing?
Topic 4: What do you like/dislike about the brony community? What could be done to improve on/fix them?
Topic 5: In your opinion, what song in the series has the most/least meaning for you? What fanmade song has the most/least meaning for you?

Oh please. I have a clopfic so much worse than all his clopfics combined.
You've got to be kidding me. How the hell did you get such a fic? I have no doubts that there are fics worse than Butterscotch's clopfics, but how much worse is 'so much worse?'

@Topic: I love butterscotchsundae. You can guess why.
If my guess is correct, you like him because of of the clopfics he's written.
Rayn, did I ever tell you you're disgusting? (I apologise if this sounds harsh to you.)
@Topic: It would probably have to be UberPhoenix for writing A World Without Rainbows. Although I barely read fanfics, I really enjoyed this one.

Hi. Thought I'd drop this here for all you John Joseco fans, including myself.
This picture looks great. Also, dat sombrero.
Topic: Who is your most favourite fanfic writer and why? What fanfics that they have written made you like them so much? What is it that makes you like them so much? etc.

Oh boy, an argument followed by thread inactivity. What a nice 'welcome back' message.
Topic: So far, which episode of Season 2 is your most/least favourite and why?
Side Topic: Which recurring character do you think has gone through the most/least development and why?
To the topic: Most would probably have to be "The Return of Harmony - Part 2" because the episode had witty references and jokes. Least would probably have to be "May the Best Pet Win!". It was a bit too predictable.
Dec 3, 2011Posted in: Culture, Media & ArtsSome parts of this episode were... eh. :/ One part that bothered me was when one of the posh ponies called the main six unimportant. (A bit unsure though, have to wait till the video gets uploaded to point it out.) Because saving the entire land the ponies live in is clearly unimportant. Twice, no less. I'm surprised the main six aren't treated like goddesses in Canterlot. Either the posh ponies don't care (That the main six saved their land from chaos twice), or they just haven't heard the news. Which is highly unlikely. Anyways, this episode was great. I liked the song, too. The only part I hated was Rarity's constant lying. It seemed a bit too... out of character.

You obsess over fanon characters getting personalities changed in the show. (Nope.)
You can tell John Joseco's art when you accidentally get redirected to a comic porn site (Nope.)
You cried during Luna Eclipsed. (Nope.)
You can stand the CMC. (I can stand them perfectly fine.)
You follow at least 3 different pony Tumblrs (I follow none.)
You have more than 100 pony pics saved to your PC (A whopping total of 0.)
You've tried to draw ponies yourself (Never tried, don't want to because my art skills suck.)
You use a pony avatar on a non MLP related forum (I don't. Not even on the forum I main.)
You saw every episode. (Yes. Only once for each episode, though.)
You read alot of fanfics. (I barely read any. I only read around 5.)
You listen to fan music. (I barely listen to any. I only listened to around 2.)
I'm totally a dedicated brony, guys.
Anyways, here's my contribution to the topic:
You know when you are a brony when:
You have cosplayed as a pony. (Not fursuiting, and no for both.)
You watch pony-related streams regularly. (Episode streams, art streams, etc. I only watch episode streams regularly.)

I am so sick of the "new music sucks" argument. There will always be good music and bad music, despite the decade. Saying "new music sucks" is just a slap in the face to the musicians and bands that do make good music. Yeah, maybe the popular stuff isn't that great, but you can't say all new music sucks because of that. Also, while I'm ranting, don't think that just because you listen to The Beatles that makes your taste in music any better than someone else's.
I agree. I like old musicians such as The Beatles, but that doesn't mean I can't like modern musicians. Neither does it make me a *insert insult here* for liking modern musicians. I even like some rap and hip-hop songs.
But as most others have said, different people have different tastes. Just don't insult them for it, even if you think their taste is bad.
Anyways, to answer the OP's question: Hating old music because it's old is ridiculous. It goes both ways, too. Hating new music because it's new is ridiculous. Hating a musician without even listening to one of their songs is ridiculous. (Don't judge a book by its cover.) But what really bugs me the most is the people who hate the person themself for liking a certain band/musician.

Well when I told the teacher he laughed at me for being a brony and told me to go back to my seat.
I then used the network to hack him (I know how to screen share and it's hilarious) so I pulled up tons of pony pictures and even set one as his desktop. It serves him right the idiot. I was thinking of using his email (because he never logs out) to send clopfics to all of his contact list but class ended right about then.
That teacher is such a ****. However, I think sending clopfics is going a bit too far. (I wonder which country/continent has the most/least cases of such prejuidice for liking a certain thing such as this?)
To the topic: I keep it hidden. I think my parents know. If so, they don't give a **** currently.

Haven't be in here for awhile and this thread is still up. Mind = Blown.
Are y'all still just binge dumping pictures and talking about other **** besides ponies or actually discussing the the show?
And on a side note: Luna Eclipsed was ****ing awesome. Luna's hair and voice, a dragon within a dragon, and that paper bag costume Derpy was wearing. I'm glad Luna wasn't a Fluttershy 2.0 like the majority of the fanbase wanted her to be.
The chatting evolved into... even worse stuff... and somehow the chatting still remained. Then the mods started banning people for binge dumping pictures and chatting. Sadly, it resulted in some bronies leaving. (Coincidentally the same people who posted weird stuff.) Most of the chatters/weird people are gone. Most. So I guess you're safe. (Some bronies left because they got banned and heard that is was not allowed to say things such as 'Good morning Everypony' or 'I have a new avatar'. The problem? They don't talk about the show in said posts. They just post a picture so it 'technically' counts as on-topic.) Currently most of the weird stuff happens in the Skype Chat so this topic should be mostly safe.
To those names Hasbro gave some of the background characters: They aren't that bad, except for Golden Harvest. Still don't know why most bronies are going apeshit.
Topic: What are your most/least favourite parts of the Season 1 Pilot?
Side Topic: What are your most/least favourite parts of the Season 2 Pilot?
To the Side Topic: Most: Probably the part when Discord had a glass of chocolate milk and some weird stuff happened. Least: How the characters were so easily un-Discorded and how Discord was so easily defeated.

That makes Fluttershy sound even more cuter :biggrin.gif:
My love for her will never cease :smile.gif:
You're lucky Rochambo isn't here/doesn't frequent this topic as much. He will most likely slice you apart if he sees you saying that.
Topic: If you were in Equestria, what would you do?
Side Topic: What do you think of those people who stereotype all bronies as cloppers? Why?
Optional Topic: How did you react to canon Luna being different from her fanon counterpart?

The hell is going on here? And why do I like these descriptions so much?

Don't I always have the best avatars?
(Twilight Taco ftw!)
Topic time (well a small one)!
How much has the Brony community changed your life?
I became more willing to try out something new, although I probably had enough of that courage to try the show before since I didn't hate on it at first.
Answer to that ED poll: It would probably be a 'No' option for me. Even if I get to decide where I land in Equestria and what time period I would be transported to, it would still be a no. I'm not sure how my life will be in Equestria. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. It could be way better... or a lot worse. I'm not going to take the chance.
I wonder how bad people's lives must be to want to go to a fictional world to live in. *cough* Rochambo *cough* Which brings me to this topic...
Topic: What are the possible things that bronies/haters might do to the ponies in Equestria/Equestria itself and why do you think so?
Oct 25, 2011Posted in: Culture, Media & ArtsQuote from Bronielikewhoah
Well technically it isn't a girls show it is a kids show because girls don't care about plot they care about fluffy and bright but if you make it for both males and females you have to add somewhat of a plot.
inb4 plot with a different meaning joke
