"Insanity, trying one thing over and over expecting a different result." - Albert Einstein
--- News ---
News update that no one will read beyond this sentence! Okay so I thought a bit on Desert Destruction, and I came to the conclusion that it is only half as good as The Forgotten Lands. So I recommend playing The Forgotten Lands over Desert Destruction.
Welcome to Insanity, a Map Series made by SuperGamer601.
Insanity is a Complete the Monument Map Series inspired by the works of Vechs, the author of the Super Hostile Series. Alike Super Hostile, these maps are difficult, each one offering a different experience and landscape to search through. Expect Monsters wielding customized gear, traps dead set to kill you, and limited resource to work with.
- Rules -
1. Do not play on Peaceful at any time
2. Do not use mods, cheats, etc.
3. Do not go outside of the map boundaries
4. Go the "Fun Path"
5. Find and Complete the Victory Monument
6. Do not use Spider String, Dyes, or Sheep to complete the Victory Monument
7. You can mine, craft, and break anything you desire.
8. Complete the Monument using the Wool found in chests.
Developer Notes:
While still being fun and enjoyable, I think the formatting in this map is a bit shaky. This map was made a while back, I might update it at some point to help formatting.
Set in a desert, filled with explosive traps, engineered monsters, and large amounts of lava, Desert Destruction II is the remake of the map Desert Destruction. The pictures show more than these words do.
Warning: This map is the worse of the two on the page. I recommend playing "The Forgotten Lands" First.
Developer Rating: N/A Map: #2 Version: In Development Minecraft Version: 1.6+ Screen Shots: N/A
Developer Notes:
This map will be a replacement of the map "White" that was released. I completely deleted the map because a five-year old could have made a better map that that.
Download: N/A
Developer Notes:
This map is much better than Desert Destruction. It's formatting is actually okay.
There are some dungeons where I think I should have added more to them. I also think
the later dungeons are better than some of the earlier ones.
The Long Lost Forgotten Lands. Spread across all 3 dimensions, this map takes
difficulty and puts it at its heart. Making it the most difficulty map of all. (Aka the more difficult of the 2.)
This includes unforgiving traps, decked out Monsters, and a ton more. This map took about a year to make and I am proud of it. Even though a half of that year was me doing other stuff than working on the map.
I, SuperGamer601, present to the community Forest Island, a Survival Map made by myself. It features caverns, ores, oceans, islands, and even dungeons. You may do anything do desire in the map, go to the nether, fight the dragon, build and create.
There are currently 2 islands, A main island and a smaller island. I plan in the future to update the map and to add more islands. Maybe even floating ones. Along with more islands there will be more caves, dungeons, and treasures.
- Needs more dungeons, islands, and caves.
- Dungeons may be too hard for some
- Ocean is unlevel with naturally generating ocean EDIT: The ocean currently does not generate water
- The map file name doesn't match the official map name
- Trapped Chests are broken (That's good for YOU)
- There isn't any tall grass
- Sand underground
- Ores do not generate at higher levels
Natural Generation Features (These will generate regardless of where you are)
News: Okay, so I decided to update this thing because I felt like it and maybe someone would come along and read it. So Forgotten Lands, Insanity #3, has 2 more dungeons to be constructed and to be beta tested. For now I am juggling the ideas of making another (better) snow-themed map, or making a Heaven-Themed map to take slot #2. Both of these maps will be considered "easy". If ONE person comments on to what to make next, Ill make that map next. Thanks for reading this.
FORGOTTEN LANDS SPOILER IMAGE!
Insanity is a map series based on the awesomely rage-inducing Super Hostile by Vechs.
It includes lots and lots of difficulty. Not just coming from me.
Rules are:
1. Do not use any cheats (This includes time setting, hacking, mods, changing gamemode, and spawning items.)
2. Never leave the map. (Going into the regular Minecraft generated terrain)
3. Don't use Sheep, Dyes, or String, for the Victory Monument.
4. Complete the Monument with the wool you will find in Dungeons.
5. Play on Normal or Hard.
Current Maps:
1. Desert Destruction II
This map is a Desert-Themed map with plenty of your favorite trap. That's right, TNT traps.
2. White
Snow-Themed map that is easier than the rest.
EDIT: I deleted the map. It was terrible. I will find a new map to replace it.

3. The Forgotten Lands
A over-world type map. The first to use the new spawner customization. It will replace "Doom" because it had the same problem as white.

Race for the Wool Maps
Race for the wool is a game mode where two teams on identical lanes race to complete their monument first. Teams can (and will) shoot cannons and bows and any other projectiles at their enemy to prevent them from winning. There are 3 wools. Complete the monument before the enemy does!
1. The First Trials
First map in the RFTW series. It was fun to test and make. I recommend advanced players only.

Sometimes reloading a Resource Pack fixes it.

Thanks for telling me! I will consider that in the future.
