Am I the only one that's actually HAPPY about the new skeleton changes?!

I remember back in Beta when skeletons actually strafed you, it was so fun!

and now they brought my favorite feature back <3

Now they just need to do the same thing to creepers!

New angle to the picture, a little edited, not finished, but above all to celebrate 24h invested only in this area.

    Looks really nice! :)

Mind if I ask though, why did you use ALL moss bricks?
Personally, I am not a fan of buildings made completely out of moss blocks. It just feels more natural to me for an abandon/Overgrown building to have a mix of both rather than everything having moss on it.

No. I blame the mouse. The magic mouse has a sensitive surface that requires you to float your fingers over it rather than rest on it, as the slightest touch will start cycling your items. It is kind of nice at first, because it responds very fast, but in the long run you tense up from fingers to shoulder. It is pretty bad. I should have tossed that mouse long ago.. It is not a gaming mouse at all. I guess if you don't use your computer too much and mostly do work with documents and stuff it is good - but not for gaming.. Dam. I miss my CTMs..

I used to game with an old Logitech ;)
though I aint a serious gamer, I consider myself casual so :P

Still hope you feel better man ;(

Well, I am MIA. Involuntarily i might add. I started Eventide Trance and RC3 when it came out and apparently overdid it a bit. I now have a mouse-injury and can't do any gaming at all recently. I also wont watch all the RC3 playthroughs as I don't like to spoil myself, so I have had to go on a CTM cold turkey. Which sucks. Also I started working and have less time than I used to. Still i hope to be able to play RC3 when (if?) my arm gets better. Will have to get a different mouse though. The apple magic mouse is NOT a gaming mouse. It is so very responsive, and so very fast and sensitive to use, but it messes up your muscles. So - yes. MIA here unfortunately :(

    Aww D:
Hope you don't get Carpal Tunnel Syndrome :(
If I may ask though, did you perhaps jitterclick?...

Wow, nice screenshoots all! Especially I really like your picz Xen. Really cute. Another issue, someone has trouble opening the mcedit? Mine does not open.

Does it give any error at all?
You can try running it as an admin :P

You know what, I'll join the screenshotpocalypse!

They say that you can hear through the canopy of trees that cover the land, a distant voice. A sweet voice that entices all who hear it's beautiful echo. They travel far and wide to find the voices, but are never seen from again. Beware the Sirens adventurer, for this could be your death.

    That looks beautiful ;')
I love how the walls contrast with the trees and water!

Well, Ill be returning to haunt you all.....

I'm going to try this time around to actually COMPLETE a map though,

Problem with me is that I am one of those people if you gave me a pickaxe and 6 giant boulders, I would focus on one boulder until it's finished before I move on to the next. Although it's good to focus on tasks on SOME things. Mapping/CTM is one of those things that's not designed for that. Even I know it takes great time and dedication to complete one, and I just want to sit there for six hours doing mapping until I am done with the task at hand.

The problem with that however is that when I do 6 HOURS of mapping for a while, I start to get bored of that, in other words I OVERFOCUS on mapping and that makes me get bored of it....

So this time around I am going to try to slowly ween myself into time management with mapping, I'm going to make little fortress assaults until I am comfortable then make Mini's and then do my dream of a full-blown one.

If anyone has tips for me on that let me know but yea I will be returning here. It's always great to see everyone :)

    COMMUNITY QUESTION:

What is an underrated CTM map (i.e not mentioned often) that you feel is amazing.

In all honesty A LOT of maps are underrated on here, if I really had to pick a specific one it would be Insomnia, or Chipmunk's maps. Both I like and pertain to my style :)

It's exciting to see all the recent streams and map pics ^^

More maps for me to die in :)

    On the other hand

I seem to be having a problem with MCEdit...

Every time I go into chunk view or chunk control, it crashes with the error NoneType error, cannot iterate or something like that.

    Anyone else having this problem?

I want to ask something in pertaining to developing a map.....

is it better to stick to 1 version and just MCedit completely to make it, or switch between versions for different tools when necessary?

IE: Using SCPWrapper in 1.7.10 and then after that using 1.8 to import new blocks.

Wasn't the first Sea of Flame just a survival map? I don't think monuments were introduced then.

Yea, but he added random wool loot chests to the maps so if theirs a monument it will be completed :3

So, I've made it a personal goal of mine to complete ALL of the Super Hostile Maps,

I just completed Sea of Flame...

and I mean the FIRST Sea of Flame....

For such an EXTREMELY old map (Beta 1.2 old) I still found the nostalgia of playing it nice

I don't know whether to put this as a CQ or not...

    Possible Community Question:

How do you balance out time between Minecraft, Mapmaking, and Life? I cannot seem to hit that sweet spot, I either spend to much time on Maps, or I put it off and never get it done :(
