Ahhh!!! The horse model looks so bland! Sure they are trying to make it "fit" more with the other mobs, but here they are basically downgrading it.

I think the birch logs definitely look too "smooth" or "blurry". I feel like there needs to be more contrast and a smaller color palette. A small color palette is what usually stylizes a game, which the small color palette of Minecraft has already set the style for the game. The new textures may be less noisy, but with too much smoothness, they can feel too flat.
However, I do like the new obsidian, iron, and brick blocks. I definitely think the bricks pop out more.

Skeleton horses come pre-tamed and are rideable. However, you need to get rid of the skeleton riding the horse. They should already be nameable just like any other hostile mob or passive animal.

Jun 8, 2015MineWarCrafter posted a message on Community Roundtable: Ocean LifePosted in: News
In my opinion, the ocean biomes lack the feel of danger and thrill. Underwater temples are rare, and easily avoidable. I've always wanted to see something like a sea monster that can make you feel unsafe. It is way too easy to escape to the ocean to escape hostile mobs! Also, it is also too easy to stay afloat in water without a boat. With sea monsters lurking in the deep, players would be more scared of deep waters. Mojang should probably avoid adding in too much life from the real world because things from our world today are almost too normal. Fictional mobs such as ghosts and guardians really spruce up the game. I think there should only a little bit of mobs added to sea life, but not too much. I'd definitely want to see sea floor life too because of how bland the gravel is on the sea floor. It would give much more of a reason to use the Depth Strider enchantment as well as explore deeper into the ocean. However with so much addition to the ocean, it would be also much cooler to have bigger boats such as ships. These can act as a portable base for when you are exploring the ocean! For those PvP players out there, that would be a cool setting to fight in. Ship vs Ship battles with the danger of sea monsters if you fall into the water! Oh, such thrill! Imagine the possibilities and adding more strategy to the world of Minecraft. The ocean is a bit bland right now, and players mostly use oceans to find underwater temples or travel across it. The ocean needs MORE importance. The ocean really needs attention after the times it has been said things would have been added to the ocean, but barely anything was added! Which actually, only guardians and their water temples were added. The ocean needs an ecosystem and a food chain. Right now, squids are the only ones being hunted by guardians. It would be nice to have at least one other ocean mob. Another opinion of mine is that catchable fish do not need to be visible mobs. As other people were saying, they would be good as 2D particles and if not, then they could be uncommon mobs. I'm not sure if many people would read this far, so I will end here on my ideas or wall of text. If you did read, thank you for your time.

If anyone is still interested in hurting some mobs, shoot fire charges at them through a dispenser.
You can also...
1. Set them on fire by setting the block under them on fire
2. Suffocate them in blocks
3. Kill Blazes with snowballs

Game Versions don't work like decimals, next version will be 1.10. 2.0 would be an entirely new game.
That was the whole point of my comment. I actually did not know until I saw this news thread. - To post a comment, please login.

Yeah, you can't craft things related to Custom NPCs in 1.11.

So recently, I have updated to Minecraft 1.11 and got the new Custom NPCs for 1.11 as well. When I go to my 1.10 world with Custom NPCs, all my NPCs are gone! Is there a way to fix this?

I can actually make the 3D bookcases myself. Thanks for sharing the idea though!

Actually, it is a private rig. However, there is a rabbit rig that is up for download on Silverc16's Youtube channel.

I made this in Blender 3D and the rig was created by my friend, SilverC16. Everything else in the scene is made by me. However, I am planning to smooth out the edges on some of the blocks in the final product.
Please tell me your thoughts about this scene and also tell me any suggestions. Thanks!

So anyways, I was walking around on a server until I saw the sun peeking over the peak of a mountain. I thought it looked nice, so I thought I'd share it. I was using my WIP resource pack while taking the picture. That's why the textures are different and the sun is more rounded.

There's an option in the AI tab that sets the movement type. From there, you can make an NPC face a specific direction.
