    I have a YouTube group called Blue Vector Gaming and I am starting to review mods and texture packs. This mod looks awesome, and so I was wondering if I could review it?     Hello all!

    I have put together 4 tutorials on Photoshop CS5 of many to come (on behalf of Blue Vector Gaming) which cover how to start making a HD Minecraft texture pack, how to improve your textures quickly and easily, how to make a dirt and grass block, and how to make a transparent ice texture. There tutorials go into great detail about starting, installing and beginning to make your very own HD pack. Please tell me what you think of it if you're interested, and perhaps check out my HD texture pack in my signature. The eventual aim is to make tutorials of every single block in the terrain file.

    Welcome, one and all. My name is Mitchell and I am a 15 year-old student who enjoys playing MineCraft. Recently, I have been developing my own HD 128x128 texture pack for the game.

    Please note that this is a work in progress; I am interested as to what you think of it, and whether or not I should continue in making it; therefore, all comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    About the Pack

    Picture Perfect is a texture pack that improves the game's visuals immensely, boasting lovely high-quality textures in order to make your MineCraft experience as enjoyable as possible. It uses real pictures to make the game as realistic as possible. The pack also benefits from simply stunning water and lava animations, as well as a beautiful interface.

    Downloads
    First and foremost, the link leads you to a website called adf.ly. It runs an advertisement for 5 seconds and then you can skip it (using the button in the top right-hand corner. I get a little bit of money from this - I AM DONATING ALL MONEY ACQUIRED VIA ADF.LY TO THE WWF (World Wildlife Fund).

    How to Install
    You can install my texture pack like all other HD texture packs. Here are the steps:
    1. Download the texture pack, using the link above.
    2. Download the HD patcher for MineCraft at this link: http://www.minecraft...-hd-fix-210-02/
    3. Run the patcher after downloading and press 'patch' (making sure the HD textures and HD font boxes are ticked).
    4. Put the texture pack into the 'texture pack' folder, located where all your other MineCraft documents are.
    5. Open MineCraft and select it from the 'texture packs' menu.
    6. Play!

    I will be updating the pack when I can. It's kind-of hard for me at the moment due to an excessive amount of homework - I'm still at high school :(

    Hopefully in the next couple of days I will be able to.

    As long as you don't distribute it, it's perfectly fine.

    This website is used for alternate textures in texture packs, you might want to have a look at it: http://minecraftcustomizer.net/browse

    If all else fails, you can edit the terrain.png file by yourself and replace the textures you don't like with something else.

    Upon searching my texture pack on Google, I came across a site that has not only posted info about my texture pack, they have re-uploaded it and claimed it as their own!

    Many other texture packs have been uploaded, too, with no mention of the creator. This includes LB Photo Realism where it has been downloaded nearly 40,000 times! http://minecraft.my1.ru/load/paki_tekstur/lb_photo_realism/2-1-0-106

    I wouldn't mind this at all if they referenced the creators of the respective packs AND they provided the original links provided, not their own.

    The problem is, the website is in Russian; this makes it hard to communicate with the owners of the website. I can't find any way to contact them. If anyone could, that would be brilliant.
