Very awesome mod. Though I think you need to get someone to create a texture for marble. It kinda looks a little boring. Other than that AWESOME!

I kinda wish that the foxes weren't so deadly to small animals. I had a chicken farm in my backyard using monster spawners so I could get their eggs and I walk to my backyard and there was a single fox in there and every time a chicken spawned it would kill it. On the bright-side I don't have to worry about feathers for arrows anymore.

To me it would sound more fitting if these fire reepers still hugged you but didn't explode. They would just set you on fire than run away to not be slashed with a sword.

posted a message on [Story] The Creation of Minecraft
This story is entirely false and I thought of it because I have been very bored for the past ten minutes.

The world of Minecraft is known as a beautiful world to many besides the creatures that exist during the night, but it was not always like this. Many years ago the world was savaged by an evil dictator known only as Herobrine. In this world people loved to build amazing structures, but Herobrine hated these structures. He would burn them to the ground as soon as they were finished. He enjoyed his subjects suffering as they watched their great projects go into the flames. Everyone hated Herobrine, but did nothing to stop his actions because if they did he would destroy them. There was a group of people who decided to stand up against Herobrine. They were led by a scientist named Notch.

This group of people were known to be great scientists, far smarter than the average person. They built secret underground laboratories that even Herobrine did not know of. These laboratories were designed to find someway to destroy Herobrine using biological warfare. After years of constantly trying to get rid of Herobrine, Notch was starting to run out of hope. He had lost all of his other scientists to the war and was the only person left in the resistance. The only thing Notch learned over the years of failed attempts was that Herobrine LOVED bacon.

Notch formulated that if he could someway combine a pig with some nuclear explosives he could hide the mutant pig within Herobrine's pig farm where he would eventually eat it, causing his demise. Notch constructed a machine that was able to fuse two objects with each other. He tested this by fusing a lot of cobble stone with grass. He created mossy cobblestone which, since he had no use for it, he gave to the locals to build houses. Notch determined it was time to fuse a pig with nuclear gunpowder.

The poor innocent pig was put into a large mechanical room filled to the brink with gunpowder. Notch activated the machine which fused the pig with the gunpowder. The end result was something that Notch could not believe. It was a weird looking, green monster, with a perpetual frown. Notch dubbed this the Creeper due to its creepy appearance. Notch than realized his plan had failed. After losing all of his fellow scientists to Herobrine and spending his entire life savings on gunpowder, all he got was a weird green monster that Herobrine would most likely not cook for bacon.

Notch was depressed. There was no one to comfort him until he thought of the "Creeper". The pig he had used was friendly so this thing must be friendly too. In order to sooth his feeling he decided to go into the room and hug the monster. About five seconds after hugging the monster, all of the Minecraft world went into a nuclear explosion.

Notch, having been the one who hugged the creeper, was thrown through a rip in time and space, sending him into our world. The rest of the world was all killed. The nuclear waste cause all of the people killed to become zombies, all of the already dead bodies to become skeletons, and made Herobrine become a ghost of his formor self. The only survivors were animals like pigs, sheeps, cows, and chickens.

Notch, being the genius he was in the Minecraft universe, was able to use our low-tech computers to create a virtual portal to his old home. He saw that his home was destroyed and that every night zombies and skeletons would come out. He even noticed, after a year of constantly checking the world, that the remains of the original "Creeper" had grown their very own bodies, though they were a lot weaker than the first creeper.

Notch decided to create a program that created a living being in the Minecraft world. He spent another year trying to perfect this so he could repopulate his old world, but to no avail, the people he created did not have brains. They just stood where they were created and were eaten by zombies at night. Knowing that the world he was in now had a very high population of people, Notch decided he would make the world think that he was programming a new game, but in reality he was trying to repopulate his old world and it would slowly suck the players soul out of their body and into the "game". Everything was going fine with Notch's plans until some players discovered the remains of Herobrine. Notch dismissed it as a rumor but he knew he would need to build up the player community in order for them to defeat Herobrine for good.

Yea that's pretty much it. Not much of an ending but it was just a simple idea.

posted a message on System that COULD prevent griefers
Ya this is my first post on the forums which I have been reading for the past week. I thought of an idea that may be able to prevent griefers in multilayer servers. Also remember my title says COULD.

Pretty much there should be a command a moderator could put in that allows people to build, place blocks, or destroy blocks. If you have just come into the server for the first time all you can do is walk around like normal and talk. Also a moderator could take away your power to build if you abuse your power. I really only put a minutes worth of thought into this so please comment so I know what I can change.

EDIT: I noticed just after I posted that there is another thread about griefers that people are talking on.
